erm it is hard to confuse, moving and not seeing a critter there, not seeing any critter move in and then see the module damage. Lag proof method of checking!

Just throwing my voice behind there: ranged attacks do not do module damage. Luckily. I check for module damage every time I cure/regain balance. Only time there is any is when we were hit in the room.

Honestly it's really not that difficult to pilot. The issue is that it requires you running and evading the entire time and getting distracted for just a bit can quite possibly get the ship imploded.
