Therefore, Lusternia should have a different mechanic to prevent guild griefing. Namely, slowly regaining lessons lost from changing guilds, at a speed that makes "like for like" switches not too painful, while "wicca to templar" take so long, you might as well buy your credits back.

It is uber rare to be kicked from a guild because people dont like you, and by uber rare I mean it would be more likely to see a picture of Roark on halloween in his undies than to have that happen. (Hell I didnt even get kicked out by Druken, Eliron, and Daedalion and I was ten kinds of prickish to them) There are two other guild leaders who by in large could negate any punishment that wasnt "deserved" and even a guild patron if it reached that point.
Perhaps if you argued the amount of lessons lost from transfering between pools was too great then I think your argument would hold more water.

Forgetting class in Achaea, at least, took half your lessons. Lesson pools here actually mitigate this in many cases to be less. Magic class to physical class is the only place it seems to kick in for a full half.

If Raguel hasn't been kicked out of Serenwilde (again) yet, you can be certain that people getting kicked out of a place because they aren't liked is indeed uncommon. The top two reasons I've seen people kicked out of places are this: 1) Going on angry killing sprees, and 2) Acting completely inappropriately, whether it's cussing the game out borderline OOC or using the lewdest language possible when speaking to female characters.

Please make sure that these slivven things aren't now lagging the server. It seems since that announce I've been having spikes at a pretty decent clip of up to 7 seconds. And lots of others are saying the same.
