If you ever meet Makfir in Fain's temple, make sure you pet him. He likes that.
Kiradawea2010-03-24 00:32:40
Seems every Divine needs to have its own oversized Direwolf. Fain has one. Lisaera has one. Viravain has one... I'm sure Terentia has one hidden somewhere too.

Maylea has a direpeacock.

Does it have rainbow spikes and fangs?

Possible

The only thing better than being asked constantly if I'm going to adopt/bloodbond with Avastus is being in a clan with most of Celest, and allowing OOC in it... Oh the conversations we have...
Lawliet2010-03-24 21:57:19
Some novice tried to dictate how much I charge for scrolls, I get that some people can work for tips/nothing, but I just don't see the point in making something for someone else if I'm not getting paid.

"I will not pay you when I supply the commodities.", yeah, have fun with that.

Note: Not a rant, just something on my mind.

I hope you stuck to your guns and said no! Giving away services is one thing, but being expected to give away services is straight dumb.

The concept of labor fees eludes people.
Atellus2010-03-24 23:47:45
Hate me all you want but I happily charge 0 for my tailoring "labor". I also never advertise my services and only ever get "work" when someone in my org asks for it so I doubt I have any impact on the tailoring market (if there even is one).

If all I need to do is type in a command and it does not take any real time to complete (unlike say enchanting) I find it laughable to charge for "labor". That's just me though =)

"I will not pay you when I supply the commodities, even though I force you to stop doing whatever it is you're doing, treat you poorly, have you do work that can be quite boring, and all around ask of you something that in modern society would cost me an arm and a leg", yeah, have fun with that.

What have I told you about undercharging? suspicious.gif

Also, I think I've broken pretty much every quest in Lusternia one way or the other. I should just wait for when a Divine is around so I can actually finish this epic quest. blackeye.gif

You're charging because it took you money to learn your trade skill. If they want it for free, they can learn it same as you did. If you don't charge, it undermines people who do, and slowly the whole tradeskill makes zero money, in theory. But if you don't advertise and actively compete, it doesn't really matter. *shrug*

I never get paid and it takes me far longer than you to do. Toughen up.

I was all excited about buying lessons, but alas Lady Gaga is coming to OKC so no lessons or credits for me.....

I suddenly noticed (after a day or so of reading these forums) that a rather large portion of active female posters have display names ending in -a.

I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that Romance languages aren't gender-neutral, and that -a is most often associated with female names (especially in medieval-based fantasy), but I find it particularly noticeable here.

I believe Lessons would be more worth than seeing Gaga...

Loboshigaru bard 1v1 against Moondancer with succumb and toad = bad idea.

Shulamit2010-03-25 05:48:00
I might not be active, but my name ends in a T! Hehe.

Also, I should start more food designs. Apparently, I'm alright at it.

And quick. I never knew I was quick at designs until everyone told me so.
