Sorry, but when you're raiding us exclusively when none of us are around to defend to steal our miners/geomyci because you know you wouldn't be able to otherwise, we get agitated. You're bringing this on yourself.
I agree with Nienla. If a bunch of you log in at Oh-dark-thirty in the morning to attack Glomdoring when hardly anyone's awake, which happens quite frequently from what I've seen, you're going to suffer the consequences later that day.

This is one of the great fictions of Lusternia, and I can't believe we haven't put it to rest. Not that I think this post will, but...
1) The person who did that is not the person you're punishing, pretty much ever. The "counter"-aggression never targets the aggressor, just the people unfortunate enough to share a CWHO with him/her.
2) Even if you were attacking the person responsible, the deterrent effect isn't just zero, it's negative. The more A attacks B to punish B for his actions, the more B is going to attack A to punish A for his actions, and vice versa.
3) If it did matter "who started it", you can trace it back more than a hundred years. The closest you're going to come to an answer is that Serenwilde started it merely by existing first.
4) Often, the "raid" that justifies the reprisal turns out to be a fight on neutral territory, a village/village conflict quest, etc. Not always, but often enough to throw these "explanations" into doubt.
and best of all...
5) You cannot simultaneously condemn an action, and practice it, without being a hypocrite. Period. No exceptions.
All of these points apply just as well to people on "my" side as "your" side. The reason for the raid you're condemning is some other raid that "you" (by which, using your language, I mean "someone other than you, but who shows on your CWHO") did the previous day on "us" when no one was around. It's entirely symmetrical. There's no moral high ground here.
Really, people, just do what you were going to do anyway. Why do we need to make excuses for it?

Wrong. We've been raiding you when you have defenders around. Your spirits in six different territories at the same time proves this. I've raided when Iasmos is around, Kolm, Sadie. Last I checked, these were all capable defenders. Serenwilde, on the other hand, has specifically waited until we were all asleep the last three nights to raid again. The exclusion is Lehki in stealing our geomyci throughout yesterday evening so kudos for him. The rest of you, on the other hand, really can't be pulling the "hypocritical" shtick on us when all evidence lies to the contrary over the last few days.

It doesn't matter if you raid during prime time or off-peak hours when all you do is DF and walk away, wait about an hour, and do it again.
And, again, it's about moderation. Someone from Glomdoring is popping in every five minutes to disturb whatever else we're trying to do, and it's been going on for months.

Alright. Shift the topic. No need for this to continue - we've hit the limit of angry back-and-forth conversation on a given topic for today. Please come back tomorrow for the next edition of As the Twits Turn.

This is the part where we demonstrate we didn't even try to read the post we're responding to, right?

I'm looking forward to seeing what my new pony is going to look like when he grows up. I've been feeding him a mix of vegfeed and eggfeed with a majority of eggfeed. And that makes me giggle. Ponies eating eggs.

Don't do it! Eggfeed makes for angry things! At least it made my crow angry.
.... why are those crows so angry all the time...

Valonah and I just got ponies, we invited our commune to come give them names. Mine is Lazehrine, she's a lazy looking brown pony with green eyes and a bushy tail. Hers is named Slim, he is a brown and white portly pony with long hair or something. We weren't dissapointed and we our ponies.

Just to put it out there - I can't really raid during 'peak times' because the timezone I live in is in the opposite side of the world. Go go GMT +8!
Also, oh em gee, my coat decays a day after comms are bumped. Nooooooooooooooooooo!

Sorcelglass scrolls are created by bookbinders. Each scroll can be used to enchant five "plain" vials. Once enchanted, the vials gain a fancy description and their decay value is doubled (so 150 days becomes 300 days).
The cost-effectiveness of sorcelglass vials was already in the negative, since each one used to cost about 3x as much as a regular vial, and that was for the cheaper designs. The only reason to purchase them was for vanity's sake.
Now that more commodities are required to create each sorcelglass scroll (not sure how many), the expenditure for this vanity is even higher than before. If I'd had to pay 6x the cost of a normal vial for the sorcelglass vials I have now, it's a safe bet I would've stuck to regular garnet or sapphire vials.

You can't put a price on cool looking vials.

That's a good point, but 5x-6x normal cost is pretty much highway robbery, in my opinion anyway.

You telekinetically place the heart of Ruiku in a mental grip and squeeze with all your might.
Ruiku clutches his chest and screams horrifically just as his heart explodes out of his ribcage in an explosion of bone fragments and blood.
You have slain Ruiku.
Your karma falls in response to your deeds.
Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 100.
You have reached the illustrious level of Demigod.
You feel your innermost energies growing to extreme proportions as a darkness takes over your senses. When your senses return, you find yourself in a different location and there is a strange feeling within you.

Why are villages now glorified bashing grounds?
Evidently there's even rifts into all of them, too. Is this the new astral?
