That might help, as a calming agent, sure. Though, I don't really ever think about experience when I die. Mostly my thoughts just circle around how much I suck and nothing I try works and I didn't accomplish anything what so ever except prove how utterly inept I am. laugh.gif Which is totally pathetic, but true. Lusternia combat is my self esteem poison. laugh.gif

I don't think there's any cure for that but to get to that point where you can do one thing effectively and repeatedly. That's what the first set of advice was about. Once you get there, that's the thin end of the wedge, and you can pry your way from there towards being useful. Maybe you won't ever be good, I don't expect to ever be good, but you and I can probably get to where we're useful to have around, and that's good enough. Think of someone who's great at fighting, as good as you are at writing, but who couldn't write their way out of a fortune cookie; then set your long-term goal to be better at fighting than they are at writing. You only have to be that good to win.

I'm stealing this.

And you quote Llesvelt when I said it before he did. :<

I don't know, I've gotten the hang of SOME warrior combat (or I had, before I decided to quit for a year and a half), but Mage combat still escapes me. ><

Ohman. Combat shakes, eeee. I don't get them while defending anymore, mostly due to there being lots of defending every day so that it's stopped being of matter of "Oh my god, an attack! Quick, do something!" so much as "Oh, it's them again."

However, I still get shakes when raiding, even in ninja-raids where there aren't any enemies to see. And I forget every skill I have, including meteor, moonburst, and whatever else it is. And I'm a semi-tanky demithing too, so it's definitely the player's fault and not the character's.

Wish I had the $320 to get the Jack of all Trades package I asked about from the artie package sale. sad.gif

Speaking of which, is there anything to add to the Systems page on the Lore wiki? I see people speculate on releasing systems now and then, but has anyone gotten to where they've got something for me to add?

Guys? I think I bugged out the epic quest. sad.gif Sorry.

EDIT: Oh, yay, fixed.

Piffle. Ardy is of a most pleasant disposition. -pinchcheek-

Felicia's stacking the weekend XP bonus, 75% achievement bonus, Lady Viravain's highfavour, and of course a Harmony blessing. Getting experience is going to feel awfully slow after these boons have gone.

I can almost taste level 80 now, though. It's so tantalizingly close... after that, a nice long break.

That was an epically timed lag out and disconnect, Lusternia. Well played. Well played indeed.
