Is the fact that aetherships are little '@'s a homage to roguelikes?
Roguelikes... Pardon me while I go waste about six hours on NetHack.

Oh man, I love Rogue and Roguelikes. ><
My twit: I really wish I could have stayed for the rest of the bandit event. T_T I always enjoy stuff like that. Sadly, I had to come to work.

You just have to think up of something non-animal like.
-in the process of making a harlequin suit as we type-
I don't -think- they have problems with overly funky costumes - just no animal references. I mean, I think someone's already made a zoot suit already, so....

Do..wut. I didn't even know you'd want one, though I shouldn't be surprised...
Preferred colour scheme? :3 I was thinking of going with a skin-tight, black and white ensemble myself, though there're a lot of ways you can spin it, really..

I don't know the first place to look for hand fans, the really decorative ones. I swear I've seen them before.

I've been toying with the idea of a lightweight, form-fitting, full-coverage suit made entirely of weathered, brown leather straps, buckles, connecting rings and studs. There would be complementary gloves, boots, and a belt, as well as a certain rugged cloak design to complete the ensemble.
Sort of a "medieval scrap-leather-jerkin bard/thief" type of thing. The only hitch in this concept is the need for a hat and cloak to make the suit combat-viable. I want the "hat" to resemble the head wrapping in this picture (which loosely inspired the idea for that outfit):

But yeah, I don't know how to translate that into "hat." I also don't know where the coat would fit in.

People reading the "Love, Peace, Freedom" slogan of Gaudiguch and being completely oblivious to the "secret society, cult like nature, factions within factions" that is glaringly obvious all over the city, from the Collegium right on up make me want to cry when they say "Gaudiguch is about freedom not secrets!"

Don't worry. I'm already secretly plotting to usurp you. Your vision will soon come to pass. MUHAHAHAHAHA.
But seriously: Yes to secrets, no to usurping you. I have no desire to be CL.

Tell me about it, they freaked out on me because I'm suppose to see stuff that's said on CT before I'm even logged in.

In Glomdoring's case it might have been because Talan was the only one participating for the first good while, and then Lerad after a little while. Being outnumbered ??? to 1 is never fun.
Unknown2010-05-30 17:25:04
When you're very clearly outnumbered from the start, is it really a good idea to keep throwing yourself against that wall? I just don't get it.

Eh, we have to try. Seren knows that drill. And I was annoyed at Treant for its insistence on trying to cure things that aren't aeon before aeon is cured!
