I've never seen a powerlog with more than 10 butterflies in a row.
Yeah, that one I'm not entirely positive on and might be faulty memory.

There are definitely fourteen. It's just really hard to get them all at once, and there's an annoying persistent bug where if you drop all 14 on the drums at once, you only get 13 feathers.
Kind of like the bug that causes beggars to spawn in random outdoor guildhall rooms in mag, which makes it hard to get all of those every time. You can definitely get more than ten of those.

We need 8 feathers per headdress, right? Or was it 7? It would've been soooo much better if there were 16 crow shadows/pixies.

Seven, if I recall. I think shadows get lost in guildhalls on rare occasions too, so do keep that in mind.

Waiting for the crow shadows to return is the most annoying part of the quest, at least to me. Especially if they weren't turned in all at once.

RESEARCHERS.
I honestly thought they'd have been out the weekend just gone. Now I'm likely gonna miss the festivities, since I'm on holiday over the next week (even assuming that's when it happens).

Researchers celebrate? I thought they were all about...researching?!
Edit:
3 needles but only 3 tickets.

I read your caps and immediately logged in. Then read the rest of your post.

Perusing the diplomacy records on one of my characters and found this little gem:
The reason for the enemying: 'Standing against XXXX's vengeance in neutral territory. If one sides with our enemies, then one can accept the consequences of their actions'
To be read as "I jumped someone and got slapped down for it, so now I'm going to enemy people."

Any chance that was a Celestian enemy status?

yeah this is getting frustrating, weeks are already dragging on. I have all these lessons and credits that have been piling up that I want to spend and now we're beyond the "soft target" so it's just going to be a continual.
Log on friday, oh no researchers...
Log on saturday, oh no researchers...
Log on sunday, oh no researchers...
Cmon, we have like... 15 effectively guaranteed Researchers sitting in a clan right now plus all the randoms that will jump over.

The longer it takes to release, the better they'll be when we finally get them, right?

Or there's a particularly daunting bug that they'll get tired of dealing with and not thoroughly test the hack used to seal it, which will turn into a longstanding bug once it's released, except the hack will actually turn out to be worse than the problem it was meant to fix, and it'll be like dreamweaving all over again!
(Ok, not really.)
Unknown2010-06-08 03:13:14
I'm fine with deleting Researchers before they come out along with dreamweaving.

Not really, if they are constantly tweaking both skills until the release maybe. If they are making us was because they want more players first then no. Worst is if they are still working on one of the specs

Can we at least agree on monks and bards, then? I'm trying to extend the olive branch here...
Xavius2010-06-08 03:38:51
I say we wipe the slate clean, delete Serenwilde, Celest, Magnagora, guardians, wiccans, mages, druids, and warriors, and open Jojobo and Ackleberry in their place. With monks and bards.
Razenth2010-06-08 03:56:32
Geeze people, it's like you feel some kind of OBLIGATION to get Researchers in a reasonable period, like it's your God given right or something.
