The Dingbat sale ends Friday. That is not the end of June, people! I was planning on getting a credit package on the 30th when I got paid so I could get a few dingbats. Now, I prolly won't cause I'll be bitter about the sale ending Five Days before the end of the month. It's like these sales are planned to avoid my paydays.
Yeah I am not happy about it ending on Friday, myself. As it probably really means Thursday at the GMT and not -Friday- and I don't get paid until Friday then I work till 6pm which in my time is after -that- GMT time change too which would be Saturday in IRE time.
Ardmore2010-06-24 00:43:12
You know, if you email Estarra about the issue it's very likely she'll give you the dingbats/whatever.
No harm in trying. I did it during another sale.

We should just go all in and ban meat! Besides, food is art, and censorship is MY job.

Well unless she was willing to do it for a few days after the 25th it wouldn't help. It takes 3 bank days for me to transfer money to a spot where I can purchase credits online. So it would be at least the 29th before I could get my credits and Noola can't even do it till the 30th, herself.
Really the sale should just go till the 30th and make us all happy campers.

The Collective said we should all be Vegans. Plus, Elostian doesn't exist, he has no substance with which to sustain us!

I can afford credits just fine. I was planning on a large purchase, though, and that requires waiting on a pay cheque for the extra amount.

Yes, cause I am poor. Is it somehow important whether or not I have to wait for a pay cheque? I cleared 7 grand last month on the oilfields. I am pretty sure that money isn't an issue, just the timing of it is.

Money in doesn't matter so much as how the money out compares to it. Having to wait for a pay day in order to make a purchase is a sign of a high 'out' compared to the 'in', which can certainly be a dangerous situation. I suppose its possible that you have 4-8 months of expenses saved up that you are absolutely unwilling to borrow from for a week, but as most people would be willing to, I doubt this is the case. Plus, you say you're poor, but you also say that you cleared $7k last month. Another good indicator.
Regardless, as Ardmore said, its none of my business what an individual does with their money, but I see many many people who spend a ton of money, and then when they are faced with a minor inconvenience they're in big trouble. Something to keep in mind before spending hundreds on a game.

I am sorry I forgot the /sarcasm tag on the first sentence. I figured from your obvious intellect that you would grasp that.
I can easily afford a large credit purchase right now, but given the dingbat sale going on and the 10% bonus I had from the Elite membership I was going to make that a larger purchase. This required a little extra, which required a portion. (Read: not my entire) pay cheque. Given that I am paid multiple times in a month, I am almost certain that I have a clear understanding of my financial situation and what I can and cannot spend and when I can spend it. However, thank you for your (trollish) concern in matters that you know nothing about.
