Seriously, not more than a few hours can go by in Gaudiguch without someone screaming tyrant, corruption, backstabber, etc. We ask people if they have concerns, things they want to air out for the council to hear, and nobody ever speaks up when Lyria asks for it. Most make silly jokes, because nobody ever talks up. Then all of a sudden, there's a huge issue!

I watched the whole thing and laughed inappropriately loud at work.

I agree though, actually! It's prolly annoying and frustrating for the OOC players and a nuisance for the IC characters of the leaders, but at the same time... it really kinda fits. I mean, I would think that having people occasionally scream about shenanigans is kind of the flip side of having a city who's roleplay is meant to be about a big party hiding secret societies vying for ultimate knowledge and power.

I'm not saying it's not fitting, but it is highly frustrating for those involved.

Oh, I can totally understand that! But, well, I guess I'm just trying to provide another way to look at it so it might be less frustrating. Kind of, "Well, I guess we're doing things right anyway!" Cause yeah, on the one hand, you can think of it like you're all working hard and having jerks come along and cast aspirations at your efforts is upsetting. But, on the other, you can think of it like there's an opportunity to explore another facet of the city's roleplay and they're just playing into your hands! Both might be true, but the second one is more fun.

Course, that's just me. I'm not in anyone's head but my own, so feel free to ignore that as bad advice.
