Zaps and shouts are not being approved currently. There will be an announce post when we're approving them once more.

That makes me very sad.

I didn't realize dwarves and illithoid were so unpopular here in Lusty. The potential racial RP for those two groups could be fun.

It is rather sad, really. I'd love more roleplay between my orclach and a dwarf.

The thing is, good dwarves need to be at LEAST 100, and have their own mountain kingdom, bedecked in Mithril and Iron.

I mean really. Dwarves must be warriors.

Their neglect inspires me to play as one, but I know it would go nowhere.

I forge a lot, am cranky about it, and am frequently an orclach- and Orclach and Dwarf Elder gods and Vernal equivalents were buddies...

I can be an honorary dwarf!

No you can't. You have a dwarven whipping boy.

I'm wondering how anyone can possibly, through in-game knowledge, realize that ribbachi are essentially entities used to spy.

I realize that this goes both ways, too: this is the age of Broadcasted Skillsets so people can blur the lines all they want. However, if they wanted to stay IC (and realize that they really have no idea what it is, aside from an ugly arse frog... because they don't actually know better) then they'd be forced to, as players, just turn their heads aside, which can be awkward/discomforting.

Too bad espionage is dead in this game.
Lehki2010-07-11 05:19:38
I'm sure there's quite a few characters who would kick an ugly frog thing, just because it's an ugly frog thing. And anybody who's been to Vortex or was around for the release of gaudi/halli events, could easily guess that it's an Illuminati ent, which should be plenty of reason for some to chase it off.
Gregori2010-07-11 05:33:31
It wouldn't be so bad if yanno... the thing didn't show up on 'look' or 'ql'

But it seems despite asking numerous times, only Hallifax gets their stuff fixed. Maybe we just need to make a whinier forum thread or something.

Read the post again. That isn't the complaint.

2010/07/11 05:40:40 - Malarious declared Lansden to be a formal enemy. Reason: Raiding angkrag.

Lol. Lansden followed someone who was trying to run Malarious out of Rockholm. This person teleported to Malarious to try and pin him down, Malarious made it out of a guarded, distorted village and to Angkrag where the person teleporting didn't know he was, due to veil keeping him from being scried. Malarious enemied Lansden in order to be able to kill him twice and evade Avenger.

Anyone NOT see something wrong with that?

If you're following around somebody who is trying to kill people, should expect some backlash. And if you're following somebody who's teleporting to an enemy in an unknown location, well that's just a dumb idea. dry.gif

I'm with you on this Shaddus. That was a pretty dirty move. sad.gif Regardless of whether or not you should teleport to an enemy who you can't scry.

No, I don't see anything wrong with that. How can you see anything wrong with that? I mean, it is Malarious.....

At least Lansden was actually in Angkrag. It's more Malarious' style to just lie outright. tongue.gif
Sylphas2010-07-11 08:10:38
Teleporting to someone Veiled on Prime is begging to be killed. I feel bad for the kid, but more because he got stuck following that guy than that he was wronged by Malarious.

This figurine was caved entirely of black, glossy obsidian, chipped in irregular geometric facets that were smoothed carefully to give it a chitinous, insect-like appearance. It depicts an amorphous mound, black and surrounded by a spiraling swarm of tentacles that spread out, hanging like a spider's legs and supporting the entire figurine. It moves faintly, swaying like grass on its spindly pseudopods.
It has 443 months of usefulness left.
It appears to be of level 30.
It appears to have 44 sparkleberry grasped in its little hands.
It is wrapped in a miniature cloak, which appears to have 50 uses left.
Glowing script covers its small form, indicating 39 uses left.
It weighs about 31 pounds.

I will find you, Kethuru sketch.

You know what, I totally agree. That IS unfair. Let's fix your skills this instant.

Hekoskeri nerf thx.
