Sure, but then I'd only be giving it out to the people I choose, as I don't want to build up the enemy's smaller people, alts or not. Some of the "griefers" I've known in recent times turned out to be using my code, and that really pisses me off. Others don't use it, but they study it to use against me and others they know use it. It's definitely an oligarchy with the feature that the oligarchs and the council only partially overlap in each direction.

I think Glom's push to kill the Flame, etc, stems a lot more from the fact that Glom hasn't actually done that ever and a lot of people want to see it happen at least once in their lifetime. Plus nothing spells success like excess <---joke.

I am fairly confident Glom in general will let things lie after this whole business with the Flame, etc for a good while up until Magnawilde or whatever does something that will give the antsier members of Glom the slightest reason to do it all over again.

With that said, I think that's more a characteristic of any org in power than something decidedly Glom-like, btw,

Also, I don't know about other orgs, but Glom's been pretty fun with the culture and RP. Off the top of my head, we've had haiku contests, whose line is it anyway contests, the winter feast, and more. I highly doubt the "constant" attacks can seriously damper down RP/culture that much. Some sure, but definitely not a majority.
