Back to Common Grounds.

Wwhhyy. Why must Glomdoring still be ten times more enjoyable for me than all the other orgs? Now I want a Glom main again, even though I can't handle more than two characters... and I can barely handle that many. *shakes fist*

Because our grass cut themselves and flowing blood regularly cleans the forest? ._.

Was Lightside Malacoda Manor designed to be undoable without divine help? I'm getting awfully tired of this.

We've both bugged it and I've gotten both Dynami to Inagin to help and they're both stumped, tempted to Issue myself just so it can't be ignored...

Issues about bugs tend to be converted to bugs.

Still doesn't help that this time, the bug was being given explicitly false information. It really seems screwed up.

Either that, or the individuals can share a favourite item, which may not be a bug and just what I'd call moronic quest design.

At least then someone would notice it!

How adorable. You think they're actually gonna make our epic quest doable.
Kiradawea2009-11-10 17:50:03
Well... they did. For me at least, though they did admit there might be a bug. I'm sorry for the sarcasm anyway, but watching Celest fall so far behind from what clearly appeared as a bugged quest made me cranky.

Still no excuse though, but I hope you'll accept my apology for my bitterness.
Eventru2009-11-10 17:52:14
Don't blame Malacoda so readily - as you say, 'appeared'. We admit there might be a bug, but this time was clearly ignorance on the part of the questor (and has been in the past). Inagin also completed the quest, and hasn't finished the epic quest himself.
Kiradawea2009-11-10 17:55:01
One location does not explain the plethora of times there wasn't just one item missing though. Usually there's two or three items lacking, and it seemed to be the case this time too. I'm aware it isn't like that always though, which is why this time I didn't just give up, but unless I've somehow missed three different locations, or the bug has already been resolved, I still maintain that it is bugged.

EDIT: I mean that it seemed to just be a case of the object lacking this time as well, but since it was only one item I was wondering if there might be a location I had overlooked. The "pestering divine over CT" I discussed with Lawliet was just a joke.

If it makes you feel any better, there are certainly other orgs that have had quest issues holding them back for other things, specifically when timing was critical.

It doesn't work that way. The person who turns it into a bug is often not the same person who then classifies the bug. So you're actually slowing your bug down.

Don't worry. I think I have to do it again anyway as since it was completed the "wrong" way, I didn't trigger Altaira's counter. But hopefully it won't be bugged next time.
Eventru2009-11-10 18:15:10
No, you're good Kiradawea. We made sure it triggered the rest of the way for you.
