Some people just make this game not worth playing.

Heh, honestly-- those people are pretty amusing.

Future planning would help if this wasn't Celest we were talking about. I'm quite literally going to be paying several hundred thousand gold for standing next to a tidelord.
My fine to Celest was 25k and I assume I've done considerably more to them than you have, dear.

People I usually don't like are being somewhat nice, and the people I normally do like aren't being very pleasant. Such is life.

You've also been sleeping quite a bit recently, and people don't remember what a terror you have been here and there.

Seriously what the did I ever do to any of you to deserve getting screwed until I derive no absolutely no pleasure from this game and basically cannot even play it. These pathetic screwups do more damage to the game than any number of multiplayers or exploiters. I guess it's the only way to lash out when you get stomped at every turn by the emo squad.
protip: don't play Lusternia while you're being forced to quit smoking or else your fist might involuntarily connect with your screen. This thing is sturdier than it looks...

I quit smoking back in July. I slept, on average, 3 hours every 2-3 days. Insomnia was the -worst- part of quitting. You'll get there, though.
P.S., First Person Shooters and Wii boxing really help with the frustration aspect.

Wait, let me make sure I understand. You're angry because... someone else playing the game is going out of their way to take actions against you or generally be annoying?

Not exactly going out of their way, because it's all they ever do, but basically yes, as much as the mechanics will allow them to.
It's not bad until someone comes in to eat your corpse after you die hunting, just to force a prayer when you're not an enemy.

I'm not sure if you're referring to our little encounter, but if you think you can be alone on Astral in the current political environment and not get jumped, you need to get someone to DISPELL ILLUSION AZOTH. And it was out of our way, we were busy and you interrupted our day. Thanks a lot.

My enemies attack me like flies on a horse. Should they be punished?
Perhaps. Will I punish them? It is unlikely. To what glory am I when I
can say, "Let my enemies get away with their deeds, for I am so strong
that their deeds do not hinder me," and in doing so let their deeds go
by unnoticed?
Or perhaps I will punish them. Is not dealing out just punishment fun?
Sometimes, it is. And what would life be like without a little fun?

"The Parable of the Secondhand God"
One day a masked god sought to destroy and steal all I had achieved. He
endeavored to send my creations into ruin. He spied upon my inner
sanctums to learn of my new ideas and then propose those ideas as his
own, making other gods gape before him for his seemingly mighty mind.
All I had made, he destroyed; and all ideas I had created, he usurped.
Then one day, as I idly composed a story upon a scroll while reclining
upon a moss-covered rock in my cave, he approached me, to laugh at me
and mock me in his presumed victory over me. He smiled smugly and told
me of all he did to me. He spoke of how the gods bowed before him in awe
and even heaped offerings upon his alters, and how I had nothing to show
for my greatness in the aftermath of that which he shattered.
Then, as the final stroke for his ego, he laughed heartily and spake to
me, "Roark, I have ruined all that you have done. Through my doctrine of
evil, I have made all the others worship me and think highly of me, and
thus am I mighty. Yet you, the victim of me evil, most of all must think
I am terrible and loathsome." Without lifting an eye from my scroll nor

I hope that was amusing on the commune's end, because I couldn't hear what was going on up top.

I've had that thing take me from the Inner Sea to the Astral Plane (which, until recently, I couldn't get down from by myself) and everywhere in between. I'm sure that one of these days it's going to drop me right in the middle of a bunch of powerful baddies.
