NFI! Maybe stupidity? I was being hammered by a lot of stuff there. The collection of (my) fossils is pretty embarrasing. Could fill a whole wing of a museum.

Hope they weren't some super robes you spent a fortune on. Escaping Ceren's fossilomania is rather hard if you die somehow, somewhere around him. Having had such a really long revolt, I must say it would be pretty cool if revolts just never ended and you could work on swaying villages all the time.

Nooo. The latest 5 hour revolt has been very straining already and you want them to go on...forever? crying.gif

Anyway, I was glad when people started logging on. During the start it was basically Sadhyra, Zac and me. The finger-shaking influence-divert-debate scenes were somehow fun, too. Makes me wonder, though, what if Hallifax and Gaudiguch get their village influencing skills?! Revolts would be crazy!

Still, was fun autobashing people to death with my novice-level guild skills. XD And, there were some pretty awesome spots in there, especially in the beginning when it was just like...3 of us, and I couldn't campaign, so I was leading little Zac around as my sanctuary machine to steal influences away. I lost over a million essence, all my charges and my splendours, but I still rather enjoyed it.

If the bug wasn't around, Mag might have managed to get both. But I didn't feel like having people go to Shanthmark after having spent 3 hours in Paavik achieving nada.

I must say, kudos for fixing the bug so quickly after I issued, though!

Maybe. Though, I got every NPC in the lodge first round, and we got probably half the villagers, before Ceren started killing me deaaaaad, and we continued to get named ones fairly well (Mag was more busy killing in that village, than influencing - the ones left were split between both Mag and Celest, which actually gave Glom a majority at first). In any case, it wouldn't have been a quick claim for Mag.

Generally, with the kind of control Mag had over Paavik, you can get the village in 8 minutes, 30 at most. We certainly would have gotten it before you got Shanthmark (I think we got all but one villager first round). At that point, we all would have shifted across to Shanthmark, and you'd suddenly be dealing with three or four geomelds as well as our actual influencers.

But yeah. At least it finished. Eventually.

In other news, I've received lots of positive response on the stern letter I wrote to Celest. Who'dve thunk that? It makes me happy.

It was actually ON Christmas, for those of us in Australia.

I know! I went out and got presents for our top influencers. Being in pretty much complete control of a village has its perks in that regard.
