Vote no lynch But only for the moment. Seems some jerk put my keyboard up too high for me to get, so I have no idea what's going on.
Rika2009-06-24 10:17:22
I don't really think Myrkr was acting too scummy. Just usual Myrkr being Myrkr. Thing I do want to pick up on is why Solanis seems to have been defending Myrkr harder than she did herself.
Why are people still going for no lynches?

True fact, no lynch votes are a terribad idea right now.
There are indications that there very well may be a masacre tonight, no need to mindlessly rush headlong into that.

2.5 days for a day 1 isn't that bad...
Siam2009-06-24 13:26:11
Do you mean a day here can go on loooonger?
kiriwe2009-06-24 14:28:56
catching up, been working long hours to finish my degree, so pardon my quietness.
this pointlessness with bali is annoying, and though myrkr seems to be just being myrkr, I would like to get to night so we can have some investigators or kill flavor to give us some sort of hint about something. right now we're jumping at shadows and I'm getting bored just reading the thread. Her backpedaling in her voting is suspicious, and nobody else right now is giving me anything I'm iffy on, so she's my best bet for now.

Day one can go on for a week sometimes!
Sorry bout not posting yesterday, I was busy busy.
Now, I'm gonna Unvote cause I think the argument that Myrkr is just being Myrkr is a valid one. I do remember some spectacularly weird things from other games and she turned out to be town. But, I'm gonna FOS her. Cause, if she DOES have a bunch of kill abilities, just randomly shooting them off makes her dangerous, town or no town!
I'm moving my vote to Bali.
Cause all his one line, not even complete sentence, multiple posting 'scumhunting' just seems fishy. I think it's a valid point that artificially inflating your post count with nonsense is an attempt to skew things in your favor. Later on, when this thread is several dozen pages and a few hundred posts long, no one's going to take the time to go back and reread everything (well, a few folks might) but a lot of people will click the post count to see who's been active. And yeah, they'll have a general idea from memory/notes on how useful the content of those posts was, in general. But, honestly, right now, my general impression of Bali's posts isn't very good. Any points he's made have been buried by the memory of quadruple one word posts and odd fragment sentences that didn't make a lot of sense.
So, for now, Vote Bali.

Not a valid point.
At all.
Furien2009-06-24 16:13:54
It is a pretty meh point, especially when you consider he's inflating it with a lot of crap so it doesn't look all that good in reality.

I'm not so sure it's an either or/ situation.
In a game this size, odds are the scum are going to be the ones who are silentish, not the ones who are being loudmouths.
Daganev2009-06-24 16:20:46
Oh, and Konton, in general its a bad idea to RP your role.
You don't want to give hints to the scum as to whom you might be.

Oh. I didn't even think he was roleplaying. For some reason I thought he was really complaining about someone hiding his keyboard.

The post-count argument is not a strong one. Bali has the highest number of posts right now, and people are only increasing the number of posts he makes by using the post-count argument for him to respond to.
Rather than relying on this parameter, there should be stronger, contextual scum tells one can use against Bali. Until then, I would look at more suspicious characters.

UNVOTE
VOTE: XAVIUS
He was the first to vote no lynch rather early in the day. As people have stated, this is a bad idea.
I think Bali is some sort of third party (whatever that may be), and his method of 'scumhunting' doesn't seem to be working at all from what I see (unless its related to his power somehow.)

Is it just me, or has Myrkr gone a bit quiet?
Diamondais2009-06-24 17:25:56
Well, 8:30pm yesterday might not be such a stretch after all. Might've just been the back and forth that got me.
Unknown2009-06-24 17:33:19

People use vote count list to find the list of lurkers.
Bali, despite his lurking, is now at the top of the list.
