I'd like to point out that Light's first sentence says Silferras would have won with the town, which I would classify as a vigilante. An ambigious vigilante, but still.
And The Take a Chip and Eat It kill could have been employed during the day. It was a separate ability from her night-kill.

I'm pretty sure "You win when everyone else is dead" trumps "You win with the town" when it comes to win conditions, because everyone else being dead includes townies being dead. It's probably a trigger for someone's ability that only works on scum or town.

No, that's a nightkill, but an SK would not ignore the opportunity to kill a doctor without even using her nightkill. Why on Earth would she pass up an anonymous daykill except that the daykill failed? Solanis is lying.
Not that I'm saying Solanis is telling the truth, but where does it say the daykill is anonymous?

A non-anonymous day ability would be posted. This one was a mod PM.
Seriously, people, the SK is dead, so you're going to have to raise the town IQ paying attention now.

I think Xavius might be right about Solanis.
So for now, I'm going to Vote: Solanis

As far as I've been able to figure out so far, possibilities are:
(1) Solanis really is a townie doctor and he protected himself last night, which is why he is still alive.
(2) Solanis is scum and lied about being a doctor, which is why he is still alive.
(3) Solanis is a townie, but lied about being a doctor, thinking it would make him less likely to get lynched, but survived because of the 25% resistance to night kill.
* If (1), then Silferras was probably killed by a townie who believed Solanis
* If (2), then Silferras was probably killed by scum because they weren't going to kill one of their own.
* If (3), then Silferras was probably killed by a townie who believed Solanis

I suppose it's also possible (likely even?) there's more than one scum group given the large size.

We can't neglect the fact that Shiri backed up Solanis.
Whether or not Shiri is specifically a Shinobi (if you believe both claims), there is some sort of connection between Shiri and Solanis.

Since this is going to become obvious if we lynch him, I'm going to go ahead and say that I'm a ninja and that's why I believe Solanis' claim.

Our 25% kill resist rate indicates that while it could have been Solanis, we could also have fluked out. But I suspect it to be the former rather than the latter. Did Solanis describe his boost power as seperate from his protection earlier? As in, did you guys get the implication he could only use one?
Zynna2009-06-30 02:24:09
I don't follow the argument that Solanis is guilty though because Silferras didn't daykill him. I read Silferras' win conditions -- "You win with the town. Now that that is out of the way, you win when you're the only one left or nothing can prevent the same." -- as giving her two ways to win, a group win OR last survivor win.
Why would she kill the doctor when she can still win with the town?

Furien2009-06-30 02:24:24
He did claim Kakashi, so unless Silf decided to just not do anything (which would be odd for an SK), something's up.

Hi. Alright, I didn't foresee this on me (although I always seem scummy) so I'll claim.
I don't have ANY information on Myrkr, I just think that she's town.
I'm the super-cool Kakashi from Naruto. I'm also your doctor.
And if the person I protect is a Shinobi, I also increase their power.

Damn, ninja'd.
I backed up Solanis largely on the basis that I'm a ninja. Given so few deaths last night, and the resulting likelihood of multiple scum groups, it's very likely that he's a townie rather than that we fluked out. But I didn't get boosted last night, so I want to entertain that small possibility. If he didn't imply they were seperate abilities, then I think I'm going to conclude he was telling the truth and move onto someone else.
Like maybe Shamarah, who seemed awfully certain it wasn't true all yesterday.
Casilu2009-06-30 02:26:44
I'll clarify three things:
One, Silferras was a Serial Killer.
Two, the take a chip and eat it ability is an anonymous daykill, as was stated.
Three, the 25% kill resist would not protect against a daykill.

Ok, Xavius actually found the roleclaim...so I don't think we should doubt that at the very least Solanis has some kind of protection power, and that the odds are on that he attracted fire for us and saved us from more deaths.
Vote: Shamarah.

I read that to mean that the power boost is a passive skill that applies in addition to the protection if his chosen target is a Shinobi. If not a Shinobi, then it would just be protection.

@Zynna: yep, that's how I read it now Xavius dug up the PM. Which explains his not targetting me.

Ok. I'm done playing find-the-quote for the people who aren't paying attention. Go get the role announce yourself, read it again, and try to remember what happens, eh?
