You win with the town. Now that that is out of the way, you win when you're the only one left or nothing can prevent the same. You may WRITE DOWN a name and kill them at night. If someone mentions their role name, you may message me TAKE A CHIP AND EAT IT! with a link to the post. They will die after that is done.

Wait a minute...more importantly than "might not have wanted to waste it", since she seems to have thought she won with the town, why would she kill a doctor at all? Is Xavius trying a tactic this retarded to get Solanis killed, or has he just confused himself as well? Why is this relevant?
Xavius2009-06-30 02:35:44
I lied.

I'll clarify three things:
One, Silferras was a Serial Killer.
Two, the take a chip and eat it ability is an anonymous daykill, as was stated.
Three, the 25% kill resist would not protect against a daykill.

I realise that. And you're still ignoring the first point.

Shiri, nothing says Light could only Take a Chip and Eat It once.

I have no idea what train of thought you're even attempting here.
"You win when everyone else is dead or nothing can prevent the same" is a classic SK win condition. This is now mod-confirmed.
Silferras can't waste an infinite-use power.
Silferras can't get caught for killing someone on day 1. No powers have been used, and the kill is anonymous. The only reason Silferras' kill would have failed is if Solanis is lying.
I see two options here. Silferras didn't log on after Solanis' roleclaim (unlikely), or Solanis lied and now needs to die.
Shamarah2009-06-30 02:47:52
So, you think Solanis has some sort of scum-protection against daykills?

Are you aiming that at me or Shiri? I think he lied, since truth is a requirement for the daykill.
Shiri2009-06-30 02:50:16
Oh. I did somehow assume it was 1-shot...fail. I heard something about "additional to night kill" so it threw me off.
There is another possibility though: Silferras wanted to get someone else and kill Solanis in the night (in case she hadn't read). There may be someone else out there who is unfortunately (for Silferras) immune to daykills.
Last possibility: Solanis actually has daykill resistance too because he man...whatever his copy eye thing is. He did that to me when I resisted Myrkr's daykill.
Either way, Solanis wasn't in the same scum group as Silferras for obvious reasons, so.

Oic. That does make sense. And I still think Solanis is scum anyway.

...that would probably be because Silferras wasn't in a scum group.
Go to bed, Shiri. Try again tomorrow.

Or someone protected Solanis. All of these answers are feasible, which one makes the most sense?

We're not talking about Solanis not being nightkilled, we're talking about her not being killed by Silferras's daykill ability. There are really three possibilities here, if I'm following the logic Xavius is advocating correctly:
A. Solanis was protected by some sort of anti-daykill ability (seems highly unlikely)
B. Silferras had a brainfart and didn't think to use her free daykill on Solanis (also seems highly unlikely, Silferras is a decent player)
C. Solanis was lying about his role (seems the most likely)
So yeah.

I know that. That's why I said "for obvious reasons." Pay attention! The point is that it's not like Silferras specifically collaborated not to kill him. It's a reduction of possible scenarios. So now we're down to 3: aimed at someone else, copied my shinobi daykill resistance (unlikely since he didn't mention it), lied about his role (possible but strange that he would given that if somehow no other ninjas were around he would come across as lying or scummy.)

Silferras didn't target Solanis at night either.
Shiri2009-06-30 02:57:55
Oh yeah, also, even if Silferras' ability isn't accounted for except by Solanis lying, something has to explain why we have no kills...there IS the possibility that we all fluked out with 25% kill resistance, but the odds of that are what, 1/16 if we had two instances of scum nightkills?
Also I just realised Silferras couldn't have targetted someone else because she didn't have any names (right?) unless Dr. Weird has daykill resistance, which I doubt, so scratch that possibility. Hmmm. Actually maybe there is something to this.
Unvote for now since I am starting to see where Shamarah was coming from.

Shamarah2009-06-30 02:58:33
Why would Silferras be trying to daykill someone else? What target could be more appetizing to a free anonymous daykill than a day 1 claimed doctor? And it's not like she would have gained anything by us lynching him. There is also nothing saying it can be used only once per day.
Also what, how could he have copied you during day 1?

Well, "or hoped someone else would target Solanis at night", but as I just realised the other targets for her daykills were pretty low so that's unlikely.
THIS SAID: I do wonder if the bad spelling of the rolename was to help protect people from Silferras. Maybe Silferras put in the real spelling instead of the actual one in the game?

Well he didn't say anything about this, I'm just remembering it from the show: Kakashi had an eye thing that could copy other ninja abilities he saw. Since I'm a ninja and used my daykill-resistance ability (passive but still) during the day, maybe he copied that.
It's a stretch, I'm just looking for scenarios in which he was telling the truth (or most of the truth). I realise this will make me look ridiculously scummy if Solanis turns out to be scum but the dearth of kills last night makes me want to believe him if we can explain the rest away.
