This just occured to me. One tactic the scum might be employing is that one of them goes silent and if ever he or she is being targetted by the vote train, his or her colleague can defend him or her by saying he she has been quiet and being not-to-scummy at all.

That's just a thought.

Also, I think they are employing circuituous logic without us noticing it.
Diamondais2009-07-10 05:39:23
I really think you guys are looking too hard into the "White Spy isn't a name, it's an Alias!" bit. Reading up on Spy Vs. Spy, they didn't really have names. Black Spy, White Spy, Grey Spy (also known as Lady in Grey) are examples listed on Wikipedia. So I think if someone is going to go after Shamarah they'd need more reason than it being an alias.

As for the two people with day kills, they are in the end your choice but it is nice if you take others opinions.
Dugan2009-07-10 05:54:49
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing ....

I think the White Spy alias thing is a stretch. I understand what you're saying, I'm just not so sure it's a good enough reason to kill someone over. Not to say I'm not suspicious of Sham - I voted to lynch before - but I think you're thinking to englishy. As in, you think that White Spy can't be a proper name. Take Native Americans for instance - when translated, their names are "Little Foot" and "Great Bear" and "Running Stag". By English standards, these are not what we consider "proper" names. They're adjectives and nouns. But to those people, those are their names. Just like White Spy. It's his name.

Vote: Furien
Dugan2009-07-10 06:41:53
Well, I really didn't want to do this. I was hoping that the majority would have taken the Shamarah ball and run with it, so I could have stayed more or less in the back. But yes, I do have some proof for my vote. Sham, you claim that you are the 'White Spy' and that you 'are town' ...

I have an ability. I used my ability on Shamarah last night and the reply I got was that Shamarah wins when someone else meets their win condition and that he is still alive.

That really doesn't sound like a win condition someone in the town would have.

Who did you check the other nights? and what did their results say?
Xavius2009-07-10 07:24:30
Assuming the information is accurate, that's a survivor, which is practically town. It's a townie who can't sacrifice himself to make a point and can win in the endgame even if the town loses.

Everyone else I used it on has been eliminated. I targeted Zynna on the first night and Aerotan on the second and Shamarah last night.
Shiri2009-07-10 07:54:17
...Aerotan hasn't been eliminated.
Shiri2009-07-10 07:54:36
Wait, yes he has.
Shiri2009-07-10 07:58:35
Anyway, Shamarah is clear, so let's get some daykill on Furien and see where to go from there.

Oh, so it is you. ninja.gif Please use that ability on Rika, so we can prove whether or not she is innocent.

Anyways, can someone remind us who made roleclaims(real or otherwise)?

If ever Furien is day-killed, who's next on your list?
Shiri2009-07-10 11:06:36
We have missing information on a bunch of people, but the only people we have NO information on: Shaddus, Diamondais, Allergic, Kiradawea.

I think, anyway.
Siam2009-07-10 11:18:55
I'll try to reread the vote train record from like 3 pages back, checking now
