Yes, continue splitting up your votes, I plan to eliminate whoever makes town lose the most! Muhahahaha!

This could be bad since she did post she will take out a townie, not just a random person.
Llandros2009-07-20 03:14:17
well xavius does have the most votes on him

he would be the easiest to pick off if we had to scramble for a lynch

Kind of an odd thing for Cassi to comment on about splitting the vote when somone votes for the person with the most votes on him
Shiri2009-07-20 03:27:41
Unvote Vote: Xavius. If he turns up town let's get Llandros tomorrow.
Xavius2009-07-20 03:31:13
Hey, I disapprove. If you've got nothing, kill the lurker.
Xavius2009-07-20 03:32:41
Also, lynching Llandros just because I turn up town doesn't sound like the best plan either. Solanis was playing pretty craptastically too. There is no reason to assume correlation between the two. C'mon, guys, logic 101 here.
Shiri2009-07-20 03:42:25
That's not the reason. And I realise lynching Shaddus or Llandros might be good but I doubt I can get everyone to move their votes over with a 24-hour deadline in place if I couldn't before, and you're a reasonable third option in any case.
Xavius2009-07-20 03:48:51
Hey, look, triple post.

So ok, I acknowledge that I'm a safer loss than, say, Dugan. We want a lynch rather than risking the confirmed investigator, and if I really need to take this one for the team, so be it. Anyways, it seems like no matter how much I ride y'all for running around like cattle, you don't stop doing it. It really seems like the best we can get out of the people who're awake is guessing the mod. Paying attention, analyzing posts, looking for patterns, that's what this game is about. The difference between scum and town is that the scum know who each other are, but they're a minority. The scum win by not getting lynched. All else being equal, the town eventually loses for simply failing to guess right, and people very rarely notice the absence of information. This is why scum tend to get lurky. (Not accusing Shaddus here, just saying. I'm starting to warm up to the idea of Llandros being clueless town, though, which leaves us in a tough spot for a quick lynch.)

So, rather than berate you all some more, let's have a mafia exercise! Who defended who? Who backed out of a lynch right before the lynch happened? If you talk lots and stop following people you think know what they're doing, maybe Casilu won't drop the deadline hammer. tongue.gif
Xavius2009-07-20 03:49:31
Hey, look, that wasn't a triple post at all.

Like I always say, deadlines are last resort. If I saw enough discussion, I wouldn't go through with it.
Shiri2009-07-20 04:15:27
The problem is that we have Siam defending Rika and Llandros defending Shaddus and a couple other instances, but their claims both make more sense than your general all-round scumminess (going aggro on Solanis, ninjaing Diamondais for a dubious reason, making noises about knowing there was a townie who can kill earlier wrt Alianna but not realising Diamondais fit that description, making noises about knowing Silferras didn't target Solanis, refusing to roleclaim) and until we catch ONE of them out as scum it's hard to say which the others are.
Shiri2009-07-20 04:16:00
Oh yeah, and Dugan "defending" Shamarah.
Shaddus2009-07-20 04:30:02
Lurkers aren't always scummy. this lurker has a short attention span and hates mysteries tongue.gif

He also has some sort of scum-aroma about him that screams scum to people. Dunno.
Shiri2009-07-20 04:36:59
Well you're either A) worthless to the town (you're not even scum fodder) or cool.gif scum, so if you can't even be arsed to play properly there's no incentive to keep you alive and every incentive to remove your risk from the equation in the absence of better options.
Rika2009-07-20 06:49:32
I wouldn't call Siam defending me.

I'm somewhat worthless to the town during the day. If you lynch me, that's fine. If people die tonight, it won't be my fault.

I would, and if he's scum you're definitely going. You were being voted on, then his giant thread whiff made us all abandon you. If it was a genuine townie mistake you're not going off free but if it was the equally believable desperate scum move with terrible followup ("if I were scum, would I really lie to you guys!?") you're pretty much guaranteed, heh.

This one I don't agree with. Dugan was too BUT WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON!?!?!!1 after getting the survivor result.
Shiri2009-07-20 08:08:29
Right, it was in quote marks for a reason. But it's worth noting because if Shamarah turns out to have a different role entirely if he dies, Dugan will have been lying...and a couple other fringe scenarios. It's totally not as much as the other two, though.

For the bajillionth time, I wasn't defending Rika.
Shiri2009-07-20 09:38:35
Um, you clearly were. We already know that if you're town you didn't INTEND to, but stop posting as though it's just that we're not understanding you that's the issue, it's really obvious.
