Alright. I am really divided on this Xiran thing now. Her roleclaim was the EXACT SAME as Shaddus' turned out to be. Now I don't know whether this in itself makes her more likely to be town or scum.

On the plus side:
* Llandros, Dugan and Solanis being blocked no longer means Xiran has to be scum or it doesn't line up (well, Solanis had Kiriwe to account for, but Dugan and Llandros didn't.) Shaddus could have been doing all that roleblocking. Unfortunately no one can confirm Xiran's list, but that may not be her fault even if it is inconvenient.
* Is it really likely that two (or even three?) scum would have the same powers?
* Voted for Shaddus. Could have been distancing, but I'm not sure how safe that is late in the game - with how slow the day was going she could have more seriously pushed for something else and not had Shaddus' role theme revealed. People who DIDN'T vote for Shaddus: Dugan (weird...); Shamarah (likely doesn't care); Myrkr (AWOL.) Might have missed someone due to the list being outdated all this game.

On the minus side:
* Was on the Solanis bandwagon.
* As a counterpoint to the pro reason...how likely is it that a townie and a scum would have the exact same ability?
* The role, looking at wikipedia, is kind of comparable to Mello...Mello kidnapped Light-o's sister, Henry Killinger kidnapped Dr. Venture.

I'm going to Vote: Xiran in the meantime, but I can definitely see the case for Xiran being innocent and want to hear from Dugan on who he investigated (maybe Siam too, but Siam's results are probably worthless, idk.) Also I want to hear who Xiran blocked just in case. Maybe we can get some discussion if she lies in such a way that she can be caught out of it.

Also, let's see...we have 9 people alive, and 2 scum. So if we lynch the wrong person today, it's 6-2. Then 5-2 (probably) overnight. So we can afford to make a single mistake if that will get us conclusive information.

She's certainly on my watch list, but I haven't decided whether or not to put her on vote. I'm hoping Dugan will come back soon and see what he has.

Solanis didn't mention anywhere who he was thinking about protecting last night, did he? I looked about, but didn't see it.

It would be pretty dumb to tell the scum exactly who not to kill. Why is that relevant anyway?

I already explained why the voting on you. So yes, it does maybe clear you of that. But that doesn't mean you're town. OBVIOUSLY you would claim you're townie, but it's still exactly the same claim as Shaddus' actual role, and there is really no point denying that.

Your vote in specific and this post in general also doesn't make any sense except as panicky scum defensiveness, so I think I'm gonna have to recommend going for you unless Siam can produce a compelling reason otherwise.

Also, it says on the front page you can't rezz Solanis anymore, so if there is any kind of temporary rezz here you should probably get Aerotan or Diamondais and hope they're still paying attention to the game...

And my post wasn't panicky as much as annoyed. I've given all the information on my role very early on, so the way you keep trying to make me look suspicious makes my scumdar ping.

You blocked the person least likely to be targetted, who doesn't have any targetting powers in his claim and also unlikely to be lying given the way Dugan's investigation set him up? ...also that he has night targetting resistance from what I remember?

I've been getting scum vibes from you most of the game, so yeah I think especially given today's posting I'm going to have to treat your role being identical to Shaddus' as scummy (I note that your angle was "it's not the same because I'm town!" instead of "it's unlikely that a townie would have the same role as a scum" Important mistake from dubious quibbling to actual counterpoint.)
