Basically to summarize everyone.
There is no fast way to gold.
You just have to find the way you enjoy the most.
It sounds like you're not a guy who would bash constantly for hours on end for gold. So you do what i do, which is to bash for an hour (or as i usually do, bash till i have about 5k endurance left) then start harvesting anything you can get your hands on while watching tv/reading a book. Kills time like nothing at all and you're making money the entire way.
