EDIT: This argument is trumped by the brilliant one presented to me by Reiha.
But still, it's pretty funny for vegetarians to claim that us meatatarians are the ones being murderers, when in reality these vegetarians kill, murder, and consume countless plants without even considering what the PLANTS would think- and even more so than someone who normally eats a healthy diet consisting of LOTS OF MEAT and VEGETABLES.

As unserious as you are, there is an interesting point that occurred to me recently: "moral vegetarians" (those who are vegetarian out of a concern about "meat is murder" as opposed to for health or environmental reasons) claim to esteem most highly the idea of making your living on the earth without having to kill anything else to do it. And there's only one kind of living thing on earth that actually lives that way: plants. Thus, plants are the highest ideal for a moral vegetarian. So what's the only thing they kill and eat? Plants. Their ethical ideal creatures are also their only victims. It's an amusing irony that entirely eludes them.

I actually dignified this by looking at it. I am ashamed.

There's no indignity in making something good out of trash. It's just recycling!

Funny thought, but:
Plants don't make a concious decision not to kill anyone to nourish themselves. There is no ethics involved there. The only known creature on earth you can apply ethics to are humans.

And I was just gonna add that the fungal dude in Kira's comic looks like a toadstool and if he's not out to kill (and possibly eat) humans, I dunno!
I won't now, though.

Oh, I know they're not being ethical, they're just being the ideal to which the vegetarians aspire, not by choice but by nature.

Think of all the carbon dioxide being unwillingly transformed into oxygen.
