Ok, so.
I needed to find something better than the Nexus client, and I downloaded the MUSH client (if there's any better ones someone let me know)
The only thing is I haven't got any idea on how to use other clients other than the Nexus client.
I read the Help file stuff on the MUSH client, and it says something about quick connect. I get there and I don't know what to put in for it (I'm useless, really)
I just need a little help getting started, if that's possible for anyone to give me a few pointers?

on quick connect host is lusternia.com port is 23. as far as coding in mush.. i dont know i use zmud.

You will probably want to create a "new world", so that it's easier to maintain your settings and keep them seperate from any alts you have.

1. Open MUSH
2. File -> New World
3. Click 'No'
4. Type "Beldoria Lusternia" or something into world name (don't need quotes). You can name it whatever you want, but it will help to keep it character/mud specific.
5. Type "lusternia.com" into TCP/IP Address. (no quotes)
6. Type "23" into Port Number (no quotes)
7. Probably want to check 'save world automatically on close'
8. Enter proxy settings on the right if you are behind a proxy...but you probably aren't.
9. Click 'ok'


Done!

Learning to script in it is a lot more complex, though.

PS: Don't ask me how to script in MUSH, I have no idea. I use CMUD.
