I won't pretend to be one of the longest playing people on Lusternia, but with my combined experience through several characters, I've been playing since early 2006, first with Kylecat, then Kear, Kearie, Shiba, Lunarisi, and now Kayte. I can remember my first experiences with Kylecat, and they were good ones.
However, Lusternia has changed so much, and not necessarily for the better. I know, I can hardly say anything since I haven't been able to play extensively for over six months. I love Lusternia but the ways of old are still very much engrained in my head: Magnagora and Glomdoring our enemies, and Serenwilde our ally.
I know a lot has changed in three years, including the Serenwilde-Celest war, and that things can't stay the same forever, but we're losing what Lusternia is all about. When I first started playing it was the epic battle between the good and the bad: Magnagora and Glomdoring vs. Serenwilde and Celest. But divided, we are weak, and divided we are. Lusternia is so twisted and messed up right now that I don't know what's "right".
Personally, I don't know who to trust anymore.
I'm not saying this as a roundabout way of saying I'm either leaving Celest or leaving Lusternia. You can't get rid of me that easily, because I still have goals in Lusternia and you'd better believe I'm going to fight for them. Nor will I leave Celest, because I made a promise, and it is a promise I will keep no matter what. I walk within the Light, and I always will.
I don't know what will happen in the future, but what I'd like to see happen is not a drastic change. It's not that I hate Magnagora, because I have many acquantances among the Magnagorians, so I don't detest the fact that were allied. I admire a great number of them.
However, I don't know if I can ever trust Serenwilde again. Not after the war, and now this.
Glomdoring I have always been partial to because most of my friends have gone to Glomdoring. However, Glomdoring decided to align itself with Serenwilde. Enough said.
We need to work together. Forget all this
political . When Celestians are being killed are you going to fight over who didn't get Guild Master? I hope not. So a little kindness and teamwork would be nice.
I'm not personally attacking anyone here, nor am I completely blaming Celest or any other commune. Things change, people change, communes change. I know that.
These are just my thoughts, take 'em or leave 'em.
