Maybe my mason will come save me in a daring act of valor and bravery!

But if it involves sacrificing yourself, don't do it, it's not worth it.
Llandros2009-07-31 13:32:56
*facepalm* apparently i was ninja'd by half a dozen people, including several posts by the mod
Diamondais2009-07-31 13:35:10
So we're just waiting to see if something like Ilyarin's power saves Solanis or whatnot?
Zynna2009-07-31 13:51:20
I'm guessing Solanis' mason can use his/her power to save him.

Well, depends on the powers I think. If your mason doesn't have any (apart from saving you) would be worth it for the daykill you have.
Daganev2009-07-31 15:25:01
can we talk? is the day over?
in hopes that we are still allowed to talk, I'm going to say that an actual mason pair, and a mason-cult are unlikely to be together.

Slowly the sun sets in the sky, and the group is bathed in the golden light from the sun. Unbeknownst to the group, Tristar and Maab have been watching them closely and listened in on their discussions.

"Now isn't this interesting Tristar?" Maab smirks. "Look how easily their demeanor is changed. Look at how they're jumping at each other's throats, everyone accusing everyone else of being a villian, and none of them have the courage to reveal themselves for who they are. I find it deliciously ironic."

"Now now, that's not fully true. Remember that one of them claimed a name of their own."

"Yeah, and yet you have someone who tells everyone what it can do, but not who it is. It's as I told you, mortals are weak creatures, unable to uphold morals except in the flimsiest of circumstances."

"I still think you are wrong, but let us visit them and see if they've come to a conclusion."

As the two divine descend down upon the group, it becomes clear who they want eliminated. Everyone has circled around a blue canine standing on two legs. "You must surely be one of the antagonists." One claims. "You're different from us. How do you belong here?"

"No, please." Solanis cries out in desperation. "Look, I'll tell you who I am. I'm a Lucario, and a guardian of the Tree of Beginning. Please, don't make me use force against you."

"Someone who threathens with force can't be a good person." Arix exclaims as he points his sword towards Solanis. Two spheres of energy shoot out and encircle the frightened creature. "We're eliminating you, and that's that."

Maab and Tristar have seen enough. They hover down above Solanis. The blue creature barely has a chance to look up in fear and shock before he's encased in blue crystal. "No!!" someone yells, and a yellow bolt of lightning runs towards the crystal, only to be knocked away with a casual handwave of Maab.

Solanis was Lucario

QUOTE
You are Lucario

Card: Lovers

“Aaron my friend, I'm sorry I failed you.”

Long ago, a young man called sir Aaron sacrificed his life to revitalize the Tree of Beginning and end a devastating war. You were the companion of that man. He wished for you to avoid the same fate, so he sealed you away. That was not to happen. When you were awoken again, the Tree of Beginning was once again under threat of death. You had to sacrifice yourself like Aaron before you to save the tree. Most likely, that's why you were chosen to play in this little game. At least you're not completely alone this time. You recognize Pikachu from the adventure you two shared.

You win with the town.

Aura: You can channel the power of aura into destructive energy. Once during the game, you may post “Conjure Aura Sphere at (person)” to eliminate him or her.

Partner: You've worked with Pikachu before. The two of you trust one another, so you can speak with each other at night.

Maab and Tristar rise up into the sky, with a Solanis held in stasis in tow, leaving his partner to cry alone as night falls.

Just as the last ray of sunshine fades away, a beam of brilliant green light shines up from the south, only to disappear into the clouds.

It is now Night one Send me your nightactions pronto.

Well, while we wait....
What is it with female super hero costumes. Is there some kind of slut requirement or camel toe quota? Or is the league of super hero costume designers just packed with perves?
Unknown2009-07-31 16:16:32
Super heroes == comics. Comics == in general, socially inept dudes. Socially inept dudes == slutty picture dates.

camel toe == increased comic sales, I imagine.

Wait, if he's only "in stasis" is there a chance we can bring him back, or is he officially dead?
Aerotan2009-07-31 17:29:53
I imagine he's done...so...Night Actions, people.
Kiradawea2009-07-31 17:53:39
He's gone for. There may, or may not, be a way to bring him back seeing that he's not dead, but he's gone. Don't count. Can't talk. Can't speak. He's gone.
Arix2009-08-01 00:40:52
Hmm, I didn't see Rika's revote, but How the hell did we get 13? with Rika revoting, that should have put it at 12 even
Unknown2009-08-01 01:09:51
The Dual Blade thing is counted thus making 13.
Arix2009-08-01 01:29:09
so it went my vote, plus two from dual blade? That makes no sense since it just says it gives me a doublevote
Ilyarin2009-08-01 07:03:37
Solanis: 13 (Furien, Daganev, Othero, Casilu, Dugan, Aerotan, Salvation, Llandros, Ilyarin, AtS, Rika, Arix, Dual Blade)

Just count them there are thirteen!
Arix2009-08-01 09:33:27
was at 10/12, then Rika unvoted (9/12), then she apparently revoted when I wasn't looking (10/12 again) then Solanis claimed, and I threw my vote in (was hoping for 11/12, but with revote it was 12/12)
Unknown2009-08-01 10:50:43
Obviously the initial count of 10/12 was wrong, then.
