What are we waiting on?
Ayisdra2009-08-01 17:30:32
Night action people
Kiradawea2009-08-01 17:36:21
Not anymore. Time's up it seems, so I'm checking what I have before I write up a day-start post.
Kiradawea2009-08-01 18:47:46
Dawn arrives with the happy chirping of birds and the radiant sun shining down through scattered grey clouds. Maab and Tristar slowly descend down from the sky to look at the results of the night. "Oh my. Now isn't that interesting?" Maab says as the two hover down besides a beaten and battered Arix. Though still alive, someone or something has beaten him up and left him.
Arix was Maxim
Maab waves her hand over Arix. Crystal appears around him and traps him in stasis, before he's sent away. "And look at this Tristar. Two for the price of one." Maab points towards Aerotan, who has been bound, gagged and tied up to a tree. Tristar gently caresses Aerotan's form, and another crystal springs up around Aerotan.
Aerotan was Zazie
With Aerotan and Arix trapped, Maab and Tristar fly away, leaving the group remaining 19 to fend for themselves. Those with careful eyes notice that someone has tried to write a strange mark on the ground, but the power of the earth seems to have rejected it's influence.
It is now Day 2
With 19 left, it's 10 to lynch.
Arix was Maxim

You are Maxim
Card: Devil
“I trust you far more than this piece of untrustworthy mirrorâ€
The original hero of the Lufia universe. Your destiny was to die, but you didn't. Instead you fought and defeated Gades, and then moved on to defeat all the Sinistrals. Your descendants then move on to defeat them time and time again as Erim keeps on reviving them. It's a tough job, but someone gotta do it.
You win with the town.

“Even when it's raining cats and dogs a Sunflower holds its head up high!â€
The quickwitted, rapidmouthed Sunflower Girl from Boktai 2. Django was busy and seeing that you were the one who helped Django seal away Jormungandr, you might as well step into his place. You're not unfamiliar to magic or the power of the sun. The sun represents hope, and it is that hope you'll carry with you while you show everyone just what a Star Reader can do.
You win with the town.
Sun: Twice during the game, at Twilight you may post “Taiyoh!†in bold to skip the night completely and jump straight to the next day.

I'm still sending out the results of the night. If you haven't got em, be patient.
Kiradawea2009-08-01 19:28:28
Oh come on! You're not all investigators.
Unknown2009-08-01 19:33:09
Oh, I didn't realize you actually started day and just gave us the deaths. So what is up with the censored info on Arix? We already knew one of his abilities, did he have another?
Unknown2009-08-01 19:37:01
Oh, and I just noticed that Illyarin's power did something, the earth speech.
Ilyarin2009-08-01 19:43:26
Hmm, well not the best start we could have hoped for. The information censorship is odd indeed.
Shaddus2009-08-01 19:45:08
Wow, the Devil and Death cards got taken out first. You would think those cards would be a shoe-in for scum.

Too obvious. I'd almost assume they were not scum.

Hanged man implies rope and defeat, right? One of the nightkills was rope. So, while we wait for investigators:

I'm not exactly sure what Ilyarin's speech did. The power of the earth rejected a mark, but a person died anyways? So is it just an aesthetic thing, or was a third supposed to die, too?
As for the Devil/Death thing, I think it was already argued (somewhere or other) that the cards aren't really related to the rolls. Like, I'm not even sure how Devil/Death are related to the two roles posted above, heh.
Also, newbie question: can't scum only kill one person a night? Does the second death confirm an SK, or are there various powers that could have been misused? Kthx.

It only confirms a killing role. A vigilante, which is like a pro-town SK, could be doing the killing. Only stupid vigs kill every night, though, so more likely SK.

Also, the question posted above is a rhetorical one, just something to consider. Unless someone wants to answer that a third person was supposed to die, hehe. >.>
FURTHERMORE. If you're going to take the cards as an actual basis for roles, the Hanged Man is more about self-sacrifice and aiding the majority. So... doesn't seem too scummy, really.

All cards have positive and negative traits to them, depending on wether they're upside down or not.
Speaking of which, I have to get going now, so I can't finish responding to all night actions. I'll resume doing so as quickly as possible.

Well, I was going to vote for Arix, but he's out of the picture now and surprisingly was town.
I'm not sure what effect Ilyarin's power had -- does this mean there would have been 3 killings last night instead of 2?
Vote: Rika
For saying it was too close to a lynch and unvoting, but then voting before Solanis claimed which allowed the quick blow by Arix.

While it is a bit odd, I can see it as Rika voting for Solanis to pressure him further into a claim. That is, the summary of events as I understand it:
Rika: Uh, nothing's happening, vote for Solanis.
Rika: Too many votes on Solanis for now, going to unvote for a defense.
Solanis: Ok, I'll claim?
Rika: You'll claim? Well, voting for Solanis (until he claims, is the way I see it).
Solanis: Claim away!
Arix: BAM!

Rika2009-08-01 20:49:17
Yeah, Salvation summed up what happened. I unvoted because he was at 10, and I knew some idiot like Arix would do something stupid. Solanis then spoke up and said he would claim, but never actually did. I revoted to actually make him claim. Solanis claims and then Arix pulls off the stupid thing and double votes.
On that note, double votes are meant to lynch people. They aren't just there to pressure people into claiming. We have at least ten other people to do that. Don't try to defend a double vote lynch by saying you didn't think it would lynch.
