Ayisdra's lurking is mighty suspicious, if it's true she hasn't voted either today or yesterday. chin.gif I can still see both sides of the Daganev/Xavius(+Dugan) opposition so I'm not comfortable voting either way. Xavius's voting seems to have been fairly fluid, though, and I don't recall it being like that in previous games which makes me slightly disconcerted.

All said and done, Ayisdra seems like the safest place for my vote, if only to stop her lurking and get more information. Vote: Ayisdra.

Him. And he takes that kinda personally. tongue.gif
Daganev2009-08-04 20:10:02
Iylyarin, if Dugan is telling the truth, we can't vote for Furien even if we wanted to.
Kiradawea2009-08-04 20:21:42
I'd give you guys a vote-count, but ya haven't voted enough. See ya in 10 hours.

Bad lurker, NO!
Unvote
Vote Ayisdra
Zynna2009-08-04 20:44:36
I think Dag is town and don't support lynching him. His posts are well reasoned and I agrre with many of the points made on Furien.
Dugan, I hope your power was more than one time because to use it on a cult leader over cop or doctor is wasteful.

I would also like to see 10 votes on Furien and a mod count before moving off of him for the day to confirm Dugan wasn't bluffing.
Unknown2009-08-04 21:04:39
I can see both sides of Daganev/Xavius (although I agree more with Daganev... Furien's posts just aren't as awesome as Xavius claims), but the Dugan argument is pretty random. Plus he hasn't really given a reason for protecting Furien, though I suppose we're to assume that it's because Dugan believes Furien of being a pro-town cult? Eh. I can vote for Ayisdra, since someone who doesn't vote on either day is pretty lame... it's like half the players aren't voting, and yet they expect the half that are voting to continue having a discussion and rooting out scum. Need new substance, people. Vote/talk.

Unvote, Vote Ayisdra.

I had my doubts yesterday when we ended up lynching a pro-town with a limited day kill. I did not want to see the same thing happen again. We should have investigators who can confirm Furien's claim. I would much rather have an investigator prove it, than just have us lynch him and him turning out to be town. Pro-town cults are rare, but they are not unheard of.

Daganev to me seems to be throwing out theory after theory. Hence my vote on him.

Can you innumerate the different theories I've put out?

Because the only theory I have right now is that furien is a cult leader, and has been lieing to us about something.

And do we not have an investigator whom can verify and/or counter his claim ....

That would depend entirely on what our investigator can find out. I'd rather they kept silent though and hunted for the 5 mafia players and found one for us to work off of. 5 mafia is hard enough to deal with, I don't want to have to keep playing the cult guessing game aswell.

But can you please stop avoiding my questions.

What numerous theories are you talking about?
Ayisdra2009-08-04 23:19:27
On the voting: Day one, yes I didn't vote. How can you not say I haven't voted on day two when we are still on it? Yesterday, yes I wasn't on much due to the bulk of moving.

As for the people who are saying I'm lurking: What new info you want me to give exactly? Something of myself? What?

Did you ever see the "You're all traitors!" scene in Kings? It's like that. You're so sure that Furien is a cult leader and not a mason recruiter that you're ignoring everything, like Furien explaining his role in detail, revealing his target (maybe), correcting his mistakes as soon as he caught them and clarified with the mod, and generally trying to give as much information as possible. You want him to be lynched so badly that you're flailing at anyone who believes him and/or sees through your tripe, like me and Dugan. The single-mindedness of it all is leading you to jump all over the place, which is what Dugan was saying. First, it was me who was suspicious for backtracking. Then I was suspicious because you think I might be trying to deny culting. Then Dugan was suspicious for trying to cover for him. You're bending everything you can get your hands on to try to make Furien look bad, and I'm calling you on it again. Augmenting one goal blindly instead of considering arguments is a scum tell.
Unknown2009-08-04 23:47:19
Sigh, this Furien thing is wasting our time at this point. Dag, I'm not disagreeing with you but I think it is a issue for another day. I think we should move as if we can't lynch and let Furien have another night and use tomorrow to finally decide this. Furien, at this point I'd suggest you do a full role claim. You have to admit how your info is confusing and somewhat fishy as you had to change it around. If it is a result of confusion or lying I don't know. But a full claim will give us the most info and we can actually see how air tight your claims are.
Unknown2009-08-04 23:51:50
Wow. This game is active. @_@
Quick check. Dugan seems to have activated his power to protect Furien. (Although there was no mod confirmation, Kiradawea did not give a message for Ilyarin's power activations, so it is not unusual.)
Daganev is not happy and firmly believes Furien is a cult leader.
Votes are starting to accumulate on Aysidra for being quiet and for not voting day one or day two. This was started by Othero.
Anything missing?

Daganev's insistence makes me wonder if he's against Furien culting him for reasons other than being swayed from the town alignment.

Wait a second, when did I say Dugan was suspicious? Yeah, I''m a bit pissed that Dugan used his power on someone who claimed to be a cultist, instead of using on someone he thought might be a cop or doctor, but why shouldn't I be? (Like Ilyarin would be a good person to use that power on since some people seem to want to call him scummy)

And when did I say you were trying to deny being culted? The whole reason I think Furien is lying is because if you were culted, and he was telling the truth, then you would tell us that you were culted. The fact that you are saying you aren't culted is proof that Furien is lying about who he culted.

As far as "ignoring everything", I'm not.
Furien SLOWLY explained his role in detail, after we yanked it out of him. Who knows what information he isn't telling us about his role, and which parts he is lieing about.
And he didn't correct his mistakes on his own, he only corrected his mistakes after we put pressure on him to explain himself. Added with the "woe is me" attitude, it all looks like an eloborate play to me. I can't remember exactly who did this before, I think it might have been shiri when he was solidsnake scum. But I've seen it done enough times to recognize the charade.

as a side note, it's a real bummer king was canceled, I was finally getting into it. sad.gif

Ok, agreed.

I'd rather go after the people who were calling Ilyarin scummy... who was that?

although with Aysidra's latest post he is getting a bit frustrating as well.

Huh? If Furien wants to cult me thats fine, but what happens when I start defending him tommorow. lol. Like that's going to help much.

Ok, so three people pointed fingers at Ilyarin.

Salvation, Xikue, and Furien.

thoughts?

He was among the last to vote for my Partner, so of course I was pretty vexed.
