On the voting: Day one, yes I didn't vote. How can you not say I haven't voted on day two when we are still on it? Yesterday, yes I wasn't on much due to the bulk of moving.
As for the people who are saying I'm lurking: What new info you want me to give exactly? Something of myself? What?

So what, the rest of us actually playing the game have some super secret information that only you don't know about? Read the posts and you'll know as much as anyone else.
Offer up your thoughts and observations or don't be surprised when you are lynched for lurking. If the vote get's close then you should make some kind of claim and try to persuade people not to enact mob justice on you. By then it might be too late though so step up or start picking out crystal prisons.

I'm eyeing Illyarin and AllergictoSabres right now. (Arix too, but he died and turned up Town.) Would it have hurt to wait for his Partner to post? Vote: AllergictoSabres for being eager to remove a confirmable townie.

Probably to what Othero said. Regarding Furien, since he's the only one who remains fishy (I'll drop the fishiness on Ilyarin if you guys say so, but I'm watching him)... Zynna said it pretty well, heh. I mean, the most suspicious thing in my opinion, is how his defense is 'You have no proof.' FASCINATING. I'm also not sure why Xavius flip-flopped on the whole cult/Furien business (must be missing something)... or Xavius is bluffing and IS cult? But then that could endanger Furien. HRM. What to do, what to do.

Two of those are actually what we would call quotes taken "out of context," so if anyone is going to start voting based on more Daganev-inspired nonsense, please be sure to click that little arrow icon.
Daganev2009-08-05 00:54:56
how are those out of context exactly?

It seems to me like Ilyarin is a confirmed protector role of some sort. I find it scummy that people would try to cast suspicion on that.

Let's go over your last few posts!
Xikue is suspicious of Ilyarin because his power failed to work as Ilyarin claimed. Furien isn't talking about Ilyarin doing anything suspicious at all, he's talking about his own power. "Oh, Xavius, I don't know why you think this is out of context, woe is me!"
Then, out of nowhere, "Everyone who suspects Ilyarin is suspicious! Let's look at them." No, actually, let's not. Maybe instead, if you turn up scum, we'll just stick him right next to Zynna for being too closely associated.
Xavius2009-08-05 01:05:47
Ayisdra, I see you reading, it's time to post.
Unknown2009-08-05 01:25:51
From what I saw, most people dropped their votes on Ilyarin after he posted a few explanations. The biggest thing was that it looked, from the mod message, as if Ilyarin's power... hadn't really prevented anything harmful. I mean, an earthen mark was prevented? Ok? Two people still died. In any case, that was dropped in favour of the more fishy jumping around on Furien. Then we decided to make lurkers post, so Ayisdra got the vote. At the moment, I'm wondering why Daganev considers anyone who voted for Ilyarin worthy of suspicions, when most of the votes were dropped in favour of 'Eh... I still don't like this guy.' I mean, aggressive is good and all, but then there's 'DIE DIE DIE.' And I'm still not sure on Furien, but I'm up for waiting another few nights to see if we can get any more information out of him (or someone else, when the need arises).

I asked you which of the quotes were out of context, because I did a search and had no idea what the context was. The answer is it was Furien, thank you.

I find anyone who posts against Casilu or Ilyarin at this point suspicious. I see no reason for people to even hint at putting suspicion in their direction. It just seems like a scummy game of misdirection to me.
I'm not sure how you can say that his power didn't work? It prevented a mark on the ground. Presumably those marks are "bad things"
He was very clear that he did not know what it could or could not protect against.
Zynna2009-08-05 02:21:20
I've been going through all of the pages again and making some notes. Just got up to Day 2 and am exhausted, but will try to plow through the rest to try and post something worthwhile.
But, quickly, on the Ilyarin power point, there is proof that his power worked -- from the mod herself. He said it would work to prevent a bad action at night -- we don't know what that bad action is: an anti-town cult conversion (my guess)? a third kill? (not sure yet how to reconcile this with no SKs - this is part of what makes the anti-town cult thing more likely to me) The fire power he invoked he said it wouldn't be best to share, and as I believe he is pro-town, I don't see a point in pushing that.
Here is the evidence from Kira herself that it worked:
I think the second killing of Arix was done by a vigilante because it felt like he ninja lynched Solanis, not giving anyone time to react when he finally claimed. And I know that he was going to be my first target in the morning.

Those with careful eyes notice that someone has tried to write a strange mark on the ground, but the power of the earth seems to have rejected it's influence.

Well, that was largely unexpected. Thanks, Dugan!
Furien2009-08-05 02:33:38
Also, I'm 75% sure Ilyarin claimed his power would block 'a' harmful night action. Or at least came to correct himself on that.
I highly doubt an SK or scum or similar would ever have powers like these, so I'm pretty sure he's town.

Unknown2009-08-05 02:36:06
It is fairly silly to call Ilyarin scum. Unless he shows a harmful power I find it really tough that scum would be given his power.
Unknown2009-08-05 02:38:45
Hence the whole 'dropping the Ilyarin thing' that happened quite some time ago.
Unknown2009-08-05 02:40:51
That is, I dropped the vote on Ilyarin a few pages back, and I think Furien/Xikue did the same. So really, we're looking at people for being suspicious of another before enough explanations were given to have the three go 'Huh, alright.' Excellent strategy.
Zynna2009-08-05 02:59:18
I'll post by Day and follow up with Day 2. Not sure if this will make much sense to others, as they're mainly my notes as I read through it again, focusing on Xavius, Furien, Dugan, and Dag. After I get the Day 2 together, I'll try to write a separate post making more sense of it all.

See but here is the thing. He didn't actually claim to be anything. So nobody can say "Ha! you are lying because you are claiming to be what I am"
All he did at this point was make himself a target for the scum at night, creating a game of wifom.
Maybe he is hoping the real cop will come out and say, "I'm a cop, so Furien can't be." (which would be pretty stupid for the cop to come out and say, which again creates a wifom game)
Then again he might have an ability which just kills the last person who does the actual lynching. We don't know, cause he didn't claim anything.
Ontop of all this, I'm not sure how "being able to figure this out at night." would explain why he was inconsistent with his reasoning for his voting habbits.
