So the Ayisdra is more of a pressure vote then ....
I think the first 4 or 5 votes were for pressure. However at this point, I'm seeing signs of an informed minority.

Silferras, how can you know that Dugan isn't just bluffing? That is, how do you even know if he's used a power? Was there a mod-message about the power being activated that I missed?

He could be bluffing, but the risk is too great, and it makes no sense for him to be really bluffing. (unless he was culted, which is a possibility, but very low)

Regarding Dugan being culted, also consider that Furien stated that 'the person he culted had voted for him' after Dugan and Xavius voted. Xavius then denied getting a message about being culted, but stated that it was now obvious that it was either Dugan or Xavius that had been culted. Furien then started to claim (rather loudly) that Xavius was the one targetted and that Xavius was town. Dugan also let his stance against Furien change rather abruptly to pro-Furien. Just something to consider, really.

This would be plausible if Furien ends up being a cultist and not a mason recruiter. I might have inadvertently given him an out if Dugan hadn't gotten his culting PM yet. If Furien is a mason recruiter, it doesn't add up.
Daganev2009-08-05 21:25:56
Yes, I agree, if Furien is telling the truth, the behavior just doesn't add up.

Ilyarin's powers haven't been confirmed immediately. We didn't see anything regarding the Earth until this morning. There's a good chance Othero's power isn't made up.

My power?
Dugan2009-08-05 22:00:05
Dugan did not receive anything from the mod telling me I got a pamphlet or anything at all from Furien. Dugan is still town and has not been converted.
There.

Why the third person?
If I was being a lawyer, which I won't be, I would argue that Dugan isn't in the game and isn't town or scum. The role name you received is either town or culted or whatever. This only occurs to me because you wrote this in third person for a reason I don't understand.
Anyway, what is Aysidra's timezone like? Should we have heard more info? Are we expecting a defense at this point?

Ergo, either Furien was roleblocked, Furien lied about his powers, or Furien was lied to about his powers.

Hello, I'm still in the process of moving (reason why I haven't been getting on until 6-7 pm EST.
Roleclaim? Fine.
I'm town, I'm the hero of a place that I defeated evil people by bring together the hopes of the people (no I'm not Obama...).
Any more you want?

Fine (and seeing dugan is not posting on my claim I'm not waiting). Substance? How about a power use.
The few games I have played I normally last a bit longer than this, but oh well.
I have wanted to see what happens exactly anyways with this power.
PK Thunder

Furien was not roleblocked. I thought we already established this?

The PK Thunder (Japanese: PKサンダー, PK Sandaa) is the Up Special Move for Ness and Lucas. When used, it creates a stream of lightning whose direction can be controlled using the control stick. It does around 8% or more damage and has the interesting effect of knocking the opponent in a direction opposite that of the lighting's direction; in other words, the thunder knocks the opponent in the direction that it was coming from. However, using the PK Thunder will result in Ness and Lucas not being able to move or defend, because the control stick is used to aim PK Thunder.
does that mean anything to anybody?
