The sky darkens as Maab and Tristar flies through the clouds to land in the garden once again, anticipating a group of shattered beings, hopelessly succumbed to despair and apathy. What they see are the few remaining individuals with a shred of spirit left grouped together to greet them.

"Ah..." Maab chuckles as she approaches them. "Have you decided to give up?"

The group looks at one another. Then they look towards Xavius. "Actually, we've decided not to play anymore."

All colour drains from Maab's face as she hears that response. "What...?"

Xikue nods eagerly. "Yeah. Xavius here told us that he's the only remaining active of the antagonistic faction. I guess that by default means he's giving up."

"But honestly." Rika adds. "We're not too interested in him."

"What do you mean?" Tristar adds as he walks over to stand beside Maab. It's clear from the shifty look in their eyes that this is far from what they expected.

"We mean that Xavius' decision to sacrifice himself reminded us of something." Casilu states clearly. "It reminded us of who and what we are."

"We're not playing anymore." Dugan repeats. "We made a mistake in letting you define whom we're supposed to be. But this is no game after all is it? It's your elaborate trap."

That's the straw that breaks Maab's mask. She lashes out towards Xavius, but Rika is faster. She grabs Maab's arm and forcibly throws her back into Tristar. The furious demigod jumps back on her feet as she glowers at the congregation. "Hah. Well it's far too late anyway. It's not like you can do anything. This little ray of hope will soon turn to despair. You'll die and this little display will be for nothing."

"No." Furien states clearly. "That is wrong. You're wrong, and I know it. I know my story. I know my destiny. And I know that my death is not in vain. Not that it matters. We won't die. Not now. We are far too strong."

Maab charges forward again, but finds herself knocked aside with a flick of the wrist by Sarvasti. "You lose."

Tristar rushes over to Maab's side as the two sides stare at each other. Currents of divine energy flicker around the divine pair on one side, while on the other side, Dugan, Xavius and Casilu all draw their weapons and take a step forward. Rika and Sarvasti stand firm at the centre, with Xikue warding Furien in the back. Then all explodes into action. Three arrows fly from Xavius' bow to strike into Maab, followed shortly by a golden ring thrown by Dugan. Maab is knocked backwards as Tristar rushes forward, sword of divine energy in hand. The sword strikes down towards Dugan, but Casilu intercepts him with a sword of her own. She masterfully parries each of Tristar's strikes until Maab knocks her away with a blast of divine energy. Tristar then turns his attention towards Dugan who tries to parry the violent sword strikes as best possible. But Dugan isn't as skilled in close combat as Casilu, and even with Xavius keeping Tristar busy with hails of arrows, it doesn't take long before Dugan falls, severly wounded.

As Tristar tries to strike towards Xavius, a barrier springs up around him, originating from Sarvasti. Maab tries to send a bolt of destructive black energy to shatter Sarvasti, but Rika manages to pull the alien out of harms way, before she lifts up a rock and throws it with all of her might towards Maab. The stone hits home with such force that she even manages to draw blood. Maab rubs the palm of her hand across her face and looks at the crimson stains revealing her impotence. "Blood... how DARE you." She howls as she rushes in to meet Rika in melee.

With the presence of two powerful fighting forces near her, Sarvasti becomes unable to maintain focus on the barrier surrounding Xavius. It falters for a brief moment. Long enough for Tristar to swing his sword and send Xavius flying clean through the air. He then glances towards Xikue and Furien who have yet to do anything, and charges towards them, hoping for an easy victory. Xikue is prepared though, and the moment Tristar is within range, a bolt of electricity drops from the sky and strikes into him. This isn't enough to stop him though, and he charges on, easily knocking Xikue of course. He lifts his sword and prepares to strike down Furien, but something about Furien makes him hesitate, and he finds it difficult to hit someone whom doesn't even make a move to defend herself. "Why..." he tries to ask, before Maab's battered body strikes him in the back, and the two tumble along the ground.

"This doesn't look too good." Tristar mutters as he pushes Maab off him. "I suggest we flee now."

"No, we can't let these impudent" but Tristar cuts her off.

"We have what we want. Let's get out of here before we lose it."

"Blasted." Maab mutters. "But I suppose you're right." The two demigods join hands as they start to fly off towards a rift that opens up in the sky.

"Oh no you won't." Xikue yells as she jumps after them and clings to Tristar's foot. "Give me back my companion!" She tries to cling on as best as she follows after the divine into the rift. The tear in reality closes, and everything becomes silent. Almost deafeningly so.

Dugan murmurs a few magical words as the wounds upon his new friends close, and they all look at one another. "So... I guess this means that we won." He says dryly.

"Yeah." Casilu gazes of into the sky. "We won."

End Result:
Renthur successfully banished Othero.
Town wins a technical victory.
Heroes win a moral victory.
Maab and Tristar were defeated.
The Mod survived.

Congratulations... I guess. Roles coming up shortly.

Pikachu
QUOTE
You are Pikachu

Card: Chariot

“Pi-pika-pi. Pikachu. Chu-chu. Pikachu!” (Translation: How dare you! I'm not his slave. We're equal partners who work and fight together, and more than that, friends!)

The cute, cuddly little yellow mouse, known for deeds such as defeating an undead, gluttonous Groudon, playing the Oracion to pacify Palkia and Dialga in their fight to the death, and swallowing an apple whole. You are a brave, determined young fellow who never gives up no matter the odds. You are friendly, witty and most likely the smartest of your regular crew.

You win with the town.

Proactivity: You are a go-getter who gets stuff done. Sometimes, people are a bit too slow for your taste. So... you gotta speed them up. Twice during the game, if someone is at half the required votes to be lynched, you can speed up the process and get that person lynched instantly. You're an executioner.

Partner: You've worked with Lucario (Lovers) before. The two of you trust one another, so you can speak with each other at night.

Proactivity ignores Pit Fiend lynch resistance

Lucario
QUOTE
You are Lucario

Card: Lovers

“Aaron my friend, I'm sorry I failed you.”

Long ago, a young man called sir Aaron sacrificed his life to revitalize the Tree of Beginning and end a devastating war. You were the companion of that man. He wished for you to avoid the same fate, so he sealed you away. That was not to happen. When you were awoken again, the Tree of Beginning was once again under threat of death. You had to sacrifice yourself like Aaron before you to save the tree. Most likely, that's why you were chosen to play in this little game. At least you're not completely alone this time. You recognize Pikachu from the adventure you two shared.

You win with the town.

Aura: You can channel the power of aura into destructive energy. Once during the game, you may post “Conjure Aura Sphere at (person)” to eliminate him or her.

Partner: You've worked with Pikachu (chariot) before. The two of you trust one another, so you can speak with each other at night.

Colette Brunel
QUOTE
You are Colette Brunel

Card: Sun

“Now that we've finally become friends, why do we have to fight?”

You are a clumsy girl with incredible luck and a very cheerful, happy-go-lucky attitude. Your kind heart makes you loved by many, but you hate to share your burden with them. You're also something as rare as a healer who knows how to defend herself. Of course, of everyone gathered here, you're probably the weakest fighter, but your generous spirit is unmatched.

You win with the town.

Gentle spirit: Some may call you a pollyanna, but you know that your kindness doesn't go unnoticed. And everyone here seems so nice. Can't everyone just get along? You are a governor, and if someone is about to be lynched, you may plead to the moderator to turn the lynch into a no-lynch. You can only do this once per person.

Jeanne d'Arc
QUOTE
You are Jeanne d'Arc

Card: Justice

"Prince of Burgundy, I pray of you — I beg and humbly supplicate — that you make no more war with the holy kingdom of France. Withdraw your people swiftly from certain places and fortresses of this holy kingdom, and on behalf of the gentle king of France I say he is ready to make peace with you, by his honour."

The hero of the French during the hundred year war. Known as a martyr of impeccable faith, a strong spirit and a symbol of hope for the people. Your actions are what helped the French liberate their country, but you paid a high price. Now you are here, part of this... game. But with your faith in god as your guiding light, you'll be victorious.

You win with the town.

Faith: Each night while praying, you will be told one piece of true, but not necessarily useful information.

Belief: Once during the game, you may ask the mod how many players are left who are town and who are Mafia. To use it during day, post in bold Seek Wisdom, and the answer will be posted in the thread. To use it during night, send me a PM with the same phrase, and I'll give it too you in private.

After "Earth" is empowered. Becomes immune to all but NKs

Sophie Scholl
QUOTE
You are Sophie Scholl

Card: Tower

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just do not dare express themselves as we did."

The German student who worked for “die Weiße Rose“ (The white rose). A non-violent and intellectual resistance group under the Nazi regime. You courageously worked to bring peace to your nation through the distribution of leaflets against the violence of Nazi-Germany. For that, you were declared guilty of treason and executed.

You win with the town.

The white rose: You work to bring peace and understanding to others through communication. Each night you may choose someone to recruit him or her into a temporary “white rose”, however be aware that if you try to recruit a scum, you'll be eliminated. You can't communicate with the other members directly, but you may send me a leaflet each night that will be distributed to all members of your group. Or, if you do not send a message that night, you can send an anonymous message to everyone in the game-thread. PM me the “leaflet” and I'll post it in the game-thread.

Those culted will have their powers hidden from view

Esther
QUOTE
You are Esther.

Card: Star

"For how shall I bear to see the misfortune that should else befall my people? How shall I endure to see my heirtage perish?"

The queen of the Persian Empire who saved the Jews from Haman and his plan to have them killed after Mordecai refused to bow before the prince. Your courage and faith has been penned into the books of history, and thus you are chosen to be here as a heroine.

You win with the town.

Protector: Your courage protected the jews from death. So too will your courage protect your new friends from elimination. Each night, you may choose someone to protect from elimination by sending me a message that states “Protect: (person)”.

After Fire is empowered. Gains the ability to one-shot retrieve someone not killed by the Pit Fiend as a survivor.

Mia
QUOTE
You are Mia

Card: High Priestess

“We'll fight you as many times as it takes. We won't lose!”

The healer from Golden Sun. You are a pure-hearted young girl from the town of Imil who travels with your new friends to rescue the world. The wisest and kindest of your little troupe, you show a natural empathy for those around you, and nurse and care for them almost like a mother would.

You win with the town.

Mist: Each night, as long as you didn't have a vote on someone when twilight came, you can choose to either role-block or doctor someone. You can't choose the same power or person two nights in a row.

After "Water" is empowered. Gains the ability to jailkeep with Mist
Kiradawea2009-09-17 00:40:39
QUOTE
You are Buffy

Card: Strength

"I didn't come here to fight! //thud// Ooh! Oh right, I did!"

You're Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. You may look like a ditz, but you have hidden reserves of strength. You've been to heaven, hell and back, and destroyed some of the world's greatest evils along the way. You let none of it ruin your life, and this silly contest won't either.

You win with the town.

Slaying: While you won't be killing them, that'd be just cruel, you still have the strength to kick everyone else to the other side of the moon. Each night you may choose someone to beat up to the point that he or she can't participate in this “game”. You are essentially a vigilante.

QUOTE
You are Paula

Card: Magician

“I knew you'd come.”

You are Paula, the hero from Earthbound, and the one who destroyed Giygas through your purity. By praying, you managed to unify the whole planet to one cause, to defeat Giygas. The goodness became too much for Giygax who was a creature of hatred and cruelty. You have the courage to stand serene against overwhelming odds. For that, you are a hero.

You win with the town.

PK: No, it doesn't stand for player killing. You have three psionic abilities, and each can be used once. PK Thunder, which will randomly eliminate someone and end the day. PK Freeze, which will role-block someone until dusk/dawn and finally PK Fire which will allow you to double-vote.

QUOTE
You are Mia Ausa

Card: Hermit

“My name is Mia. Mia Ausa. May I ask your name?”

The daughter of Lemia Ausa, and leader of the Vane Magic Guild. You joined Alex and Nall in their quest to rescue Luna and stop Ghaleon. Your magic reflects your dualistic nature. Calm and collected like ice, yet with a burning courage that never allows you to give up, no matter how difficult things may seem.

You win with the town.

Ice shell: This “game” requires logic and careful thought. You cannot leave the game to be decided by brute force alone. Thus, each night, you may encase someone in a shell of ice, stopping them from doing anything for that night. You are essentially a role-blocker.

QUOTE
You are Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon).

Card: Moon

"It's possible that everyone is gone when I give up, so I'll never give up. Ever!"

You are the heroine from the moon kingdom, Usagi Tsukino. You are a very kind-hearted girl who never stops believing in the good inside everyone. You never fight if you can help it, instead preferring peaceful solutions. Even when the world was at the brink of destruction, when all seemed lost, you kept clinging to that small ounce of hope. And that small ray of light literally tore through Galaxia's darkness. Now you are here to share your light.

You win with the town.

Empathy: Your best trait is your empathic personality. People can't help but to open up to you, and in this “challenge” you can use that to your advantage. Each night you may target someone and find out his or her alignment. In addition, if you're about to get lynched, you'll start bawling like there's no end to it, and survive the lynch because people just can't stand hearing you cry. You're essentially unlynchable.

Investigation is naive

QUOTE
You are Maxim

Card: Devil

“I trust you far more than this piece of untrustworthy mirror”

The original hero of the Lufia universe. Your destiny was to die, but you didn't. Instead you fought and defeated Gades, and then moved on to defeat all the Sinistrals. Your descendants then move on to defeat them time and time again as Erim keeps on reviving them. It's a tough job, but someone gotta do it.

You win with the town.

Dual blade: This divine weapon can only be wielded by a few chosen individuals. You are one of these and the power of the Dual blade is yours to command. Twice during the game, you may post “Dual Blade” in bold on the forums to gain a double vote. Once during the game, at night, you may send me the message “Aura Wave” to gain protection for that night.

QUOTE
You are Zazie

Card: Death

“Even when it's raining cats and dogs a Sunflower holds its head up high!”

The quickwitted, rapidmouthed Sunflower Girl from Boktai 2. Django was busy and seeing that you were the one who helped Django seal away Jormungandr, you might as well step into his place. You're not unfamiliar to magic or the power of the sun. The sun represents hope, and it is that hope you'll carry with you while you show everyone just what a Star Reader can do.

You win with the town.

Sun: Twice during the game, at Twilight you may post “Taiyoh!” in bold to skip the night completely and jump straight to the next day.

QUOTE
You are Yuki Nagato

Card: Temperance

“A Limited-area amalgamated alternate timespace with non-corrosive tendencies is independently occuring in restricted mode within this room.“

Seemingly emotionless humanoid interface emanating from the Integrated Data Entity. Kind. Reliable. Has feelings for Kyon. Transmission end.

You win with the town.

Nullify data link: Pulled out from your reality to a game you have no desire to be part of. You do have the power to fully end this challenge at any time, yet you've chosen to abide by the rules. However, when you finally are eliminated from this game, you will take with you the one who caused your elimination. You're essentially a bomb.
Kiradawea2009-09-17 00:57:51
QUOTE
You are Yushis

Card: Judgement

“Mizal... I'm sorry.”

The archangel from Ogre Battle. You joined the Opinion Leader on his quest in hopes of freeing your sister Mizal, but instead you were forced to kill her when Rashidi stole the 13th zodiac stone and bound her to Earth. You then joined the Opinion Leader and went on to defeat the evil Rashidi and the demon Diablo. Now you are here, surrounded by the pure, just hearts of fellow heroes, but something makes you uncertain. There is someone here who do not follow the path of Good. It is your responsibility to protect the other heroes from this cruel creature.

You win if you Banish the Demon. If the Demon is eliminated before you can Banish him, you win with the town.

Banish: Let the heart of evil be purged, and let the light shine forth. Each night, you may choose someone and bring the Light of the heavens down on him or her. If it is a mortal with a good heart, the person will be sent back home and be safe for the night, until the Divine bring him or her back. However, if you target the Demon, you will kill him and leave the game as a winner.

Immune to Mafia kill

QUOTE
You are Odysseyus

Card: Emperor

"Many cities of men he saw and learned their minds, may pains he suffered, heartsick on the open sea, fighting to save his life and bring his comrades home."

The hero from the story written by the poet Homer. Notable accomplishments include: master sailor, built the trojan horse, outwitted a giant, chewtoy of the Greek gods, killed a whole bunch of suitors... well, you're pretty clever though. Now use that cleverness to win.

You win with the anti-heroes. Your partners are Frodo, Haley Starshine, Mahatma Gandhi and Paperinik. You eliminate people by knocking them unconscious.

Misdirection: Each night if you're not eliminating, you may choose to misdirect someone. That person will choose a new target.

Redirects to the one who made the decisive lynch-vote.

QUOTE
You are Frodo

Card: Fool

'I will take the Ring, though I do not know the way.'

Who destroyed the one ring to rule them all? You did. One little hobbit ran through desolate wastelands, the lair of one BIG spider and hordes of inborn evil creatures for the sake of peace. The hope of the fool made manifest. At least there's no one here who wants to gut you or fry your innards. So that makes this game a welcome change from your regular adventures.

You win with the anti-heroes. Your partners are Odysseus, Haley Starshine, Mahatma Gandhi and Paperinik. You eliminate people by leading them astray in the forest.

Stealth: Hobbits are sneaky, stealthy little fellows. Each night, if you're not eliminating, you may choose to watch or track someone.

QUOTE
You are Haley Starshine.

Card: Empress

"My dad was a first edition Thief. It runs in the family."

A beautiful thief with a keen love... err eye for treasure. You love it, but you also feel responsible for those around you. You may try to hide it, but deep down you are a compassionate person who tries to make the world a better place. And of course, make a good profit while you're at it. A master of stealth and guile.

You win with the anti-heroes. Your partners are Odysseus, Mahatma Gandhi Frodo and Paperinik. You eliminate people by tying them up. Those 8 ranks of use rope sure come in handy huh?

High save DC poison: At night, if you're not eliminating, you may choose someone to hit with your high save DC poison and knock him or her out cold. You are essentially a role-blocker. Just be aware that some people can actually make their save.

Pikachu, Lucario, Buffy, Maxim, Pit Fiend and Yushis immune to poison

QUOTE
You are Mahatma Gandhi

Card: Hierophant

"As soon as we lose the moral basis, we cease to be religious. There is no such thing as religion over-riding morality. Man, for instance, cannot be untruthful, cruel or incontinent and claim to have God on his side."

A firm believer of peaceful solutions, compassion and courage. You are known for “Satyagraha”, the nonviolent resistance. No problem can be solved through the application of force. Only through communication, patience and spiritual strength can the evils of the world be banished. Peace and nonviolence are not acts of cowardice. It takes more courage to stand firmly against violent opposition, than to pull the trigger of a gun. That is your belief. A belief you still carry with you, even as you are dragged into this “game”, and now you are playing the antagonist.

You win with the anti-heroes. Your partners are Odysseus, Frodo, Haley Starshine and Paperinik. You eliminate opposition by pacifying him or her through enlightened conversation.

Power of peace: You are a source of inspiration, who inspired the masses to believe in Satyagraha. Unfortunately, the others here are not the masses, but individuals. You can't convince everyone to be peaceful immediately all the time, but maybe, for just one night. Once during the game, during daytime, you may post in bold “Satyagraha”. The day will immediately end in a no-lynch, and no one will be able to eliminate or roleblock the following night.

Nonviolence: If you are not eliminating that night, you can stand firmly guard before that person and protect him or her for that night. You can not protect yourself.

After "Wind" is empowered. Bodyguard becomes doctoring

QUOTE
You are Paperinik

Card: Fortune

“No, but I have a gravitational shifter.”

The alter-ego of Donald Duck, superhero who fights against the Evronians and time-crooks. Surprising what one unlucky duck can do eh? At first you used your powers to get back at those who wronged you, but you have since become one of the greatest heroes of all times, and the greatest hero of your universe. You also have an Alter-ego, Donald Duck. If you take no Night-actions, then if you're lynched or NKed the same night you'll show up as Donald Duck and town.

You win with the anti-heroes. Your partners are Odysseus, Frodo and Haley Starshine. You eliminate people by freezing them in time with your shield.

Car-can pills: Each night, if you aren't eliminating, you may choose someone to check his or her powers. You'll also give him or her a Car-can pill. He or she will forget what he/she did that night and will get a generic response message.

Alter ego: First rule of every hero. Have an alter-ego. If you don't take a night-action and you're eliminated that night or the following day, you show up as Donald Duck, a townie.

QUOTE
You are a Pit Fiend

Card: Hanged man

Here to make hell, because, let's face it, you're a devil from hell, you caught wind of this little contest and decided to step in. Except, you're playing it on your terms. Which is bad for the other players as to you, they're nothing but souls to make you stronger. Of course, it's your own job to give yourself a persona that seems somewhat believable. They are still heroes after all, and will kill you if you reveal your true form.

You win with yourself once everyone else are eliminated. You eliminate others by swallowing them whole.

Divinity: Well, you're not god, but you're pretty powerful. Not powerful to tackle the divine of the game, but powerful enough that you can hide if they decide to try and lynch you. This'll only work once though, as the second time the divine will look more careful into your existence, find you and bring your fun to a quick, brutal end.

Pentagram: At night, instead of eliminating your target you can put up a protective shield. The first person to target you that night will be eaten.

Kills twice each night after Gaia leaves the game. Pentagram triggers before role-block after Yushis leaves the game

QUOTE
You are Gaia

Card: World

“This time you've gone too far. I'm gonna put a stop to this right now!”

The spirit of mother earth. People seem to think that you will passively stand by and take any punishment given to you, but they are wrong. To protect yourself, you sent five magic rings representing the five elements to five youths across the world, hoping that they would inspire awareness of the environment. However, that's now why you're here. You sensed that historically important people vanished from all around the globe, so you followed after them, to see what is going on. Now that you're here, you might as well take the chance to inspire those present to greater heights.

You win when your true power is shown.

By your powers combined: There are five elements in this world. Earth, fire, wind, water and heart. These elements are within everyone, but you know how to draw them out and give them shape. Each day, you may invoke one element by posting it in bold. To make the element manifest itself however, you need to deliver a small speech about a certain moral, depending on the element.
Earth: The importance of appreciating plants and the natural world, as well as sustainability.
Fire: The importance of clean energy.
Wind: The importance of making smart choices and plan ahead.
Water: The importance of individual responsibility, both towards nature and your own health and well-being.
Heart: The importance of teamwork.
The elements must be summoned in that order.

Divinity: You are the goddess of the earth. No mortal can harm you. You are immune to all forms of elimination except for lynching. Bear in mind though, that you only keep this protection as long as your true nature is hidden. If you tell anyone that you're Gaia, you will lose this protection for the rest of the game.

Empowering Earth, Fire, Wind and Water boosts various characters. Empowering Heart reveals everyone's name. (A fake name is given if the Pit Fiend is still alive)

Thanks for modding the game! It was fun while it lasted, though too bad it fizzled out at the end.. Just curious, but do you have the list of night actions?
Furien2009-09-17 09:15:27
You picked awesome heroes.
Zynna2009-09-17 13:26:46
Thanks for running this, Kira! I had fun RPing with you at night. smile.gif

I was sorry to see it fade out at the end ... maybe our next mafia game should involve speed rounds?
Kiradawea2009-09-17 18:52:03
Got a list of night actions right. Adding it at the end of this post along with a role list.

Anyway, glad you liked the game and the characters I chose. I wanted to go for heroes that represented a wide variety in types of heroes. Originally, the list of characters were also different and shorter. Especially the role-blocker changed often. First it was Himura Kenshin, then Nall from Lunar: Silver Star Story complete (his roleblock, forcing someone to take him fishing, was also gonna be a quasi-investigation "Rika is horrible at fishing. Silferras is an excellent fisher") but was eventually dropped for Mia Ausa, when I found out I could have two Mia characters in one game, hoping it could create some confusion. Lucario was also originally Joan of Arcadia, from the TV show with the same name, and mason with Jeanne d'Arc. But I found it difficult to emulate her conversations with god (I'd already given Jeanne the Seer ability) and the tasks she was given. And compared to the virtues the other heroes represent, obedience becomes a little lack-luster.

Personally, I'm a bit miffed that some of the things I planned never came into effect. Most notably, I wanted to see what you'd do to an unlynchable investigator, and if anyone would catch on that an ability like that would be WAY too powerful. I also wanted to see how you'd react to suddenly knowing the names of everyone in the game. But oh well. Maybe in another time, another game. At the very least, it was fun to see how you guys handled a pro-town cultist. Sometimes initial perceptions can be misleading eh Furien? *parasol*

And thanks Zynna. It was great fun to receive your PMs. You too Furien and Silferras. Thanks for playing. You made it an enjoyable experience to mod for you. I'm thinking I'll introduce an over-arching deadline for my Halloween themed game though, if I can get it up in time. If no conclusion is reached by Halloween, scum wins!

Speed rounds only do so much. People just go inactive and it's not always practical to convince people to lynch the inactives. You could always go for a 1 post per (game) day or autodeletion, that would help some, but not entirely.
