The implication of the Zynna mentioning the bomb for no reason is that she was very subtlely implying that she was one, as far as Xavius reads it and I see what he means.

We really need to get the silent people talking more. That or start voting them for being lurky and scummy.

Thing is.. nothing is really happening. My vote stays on Daganev for early aggressiveness.

I'm not really sure I'd call (most of) the talk idiotic. Starting is difficult because you can only start forming opinions of them based off of what they do (or don't) give you. So it's hard to apply good logic and solid guesses if no one is talking. I don't have the numbers, but it feels like still over half of this group hasn't even uttered a single word still. BUT, I've also not noticed anyone of those non-talkers just lurking yet. Perhaps it's the weekend. I'd say if nothing starts developing by the end of it, we pick someone who's thus far spoken not a single word and focus and pressure them. If they still don't speak to defend themselves, maybe they're already dead, and we just don't know it?

It's a stretch to construe that Zynna's hinting she's a bomb from her speculation post, but I very much doubt she's going to try implying that after Xavius attacked her for it, if indeed she was planning to. Not sure what to make of Xavius's behaviour, either, since in most games he consistently dies early on.. The constant aggressiveness doesn't seem out of character, though.

In any case, I agree with Allergic, there's really nothing much to go on during Day 1 if it was a day start, so speculative talk is all we have. I'd give it a couple more days before we start on those not contributing, though, since they might just be disoriented from being dumped her or otherwise occupied, but that's another avenue worth exploring later on.

If people want other people to post then I think it'd be best to actually post something worth discussing other than blind accusations, gut-feelings or whatever.

Two points made by/regarding Ilyarin I find INTRIGUING (in that interesting sort of manner):

1. Both Daganev and Xavius are fairly aggressive towards each other, and I don't think it can be ruled out that they're trying to set themselves up so at least one of them comes out 'clean.'

2. No response to Ilyarin's power-use (which seems positive) and only a smiling mod. Perhaps ol' Ilyarin-face is trying to screw with us. Just saying.

3. Why is it up to only a few people to 'start an interesting discussion'? I just don't buy the 'I'm not posting because you guys haven't posted anything interesting.' argument. You have just as much responsibility to post something useful.

I think the reason there was no mod response to Ilyarin's power is that it protects us at night. Now granted, perhaps something should have happened like the entire group being snuggled in a protective canopy of leaves or something, but I'm not sure it's a requirement. It is something to note, though.

That was my thought as well. It's unclear whether anyone everyone will get a message about this at night, or whether it will just mean one less death than we otherwise would have had (or whatever can constitute a harmful action).

So what do you want us to post? Accusations and gut-feelings with backup isn't useless discussion on Day 1 because we have absolutely NO concrete info whatsoever, whether from cops or roleblockers or doctors.

Except, it's Day One. We started at Day, nobody will have had time to gather information against others. All there will be on a day one is accusations, gut-feelings and what-not.
