Considering how well Amaru did with them, I'm tempted to say no... *twiddle*

Are Celestines balanced? ninja.gif

Whenever I talk to people about classes/OP-ness, the comparisons always end up coming either to warriors or Celestines, so I'd guess they're pretty reasonable.

That's the point of this thread though-- many envoys aren't unbiased, they don't care about design or intent, they only recognize things as OP when they are not their own skills, they don't want a challenge, and don't care for balance. It doesn't matter if they are non-com or not. Being a combatant doesn't automatically mean you care for balance and the challenge-- in fact, I'd argue that in today's game, lots of combatants are the opposite.

Clearly the admin aren't stupid, so when they look at changes they will look at the name on the report. If they don't, they should be going 'Is this guy a biased fool trying to get buffed? or is he unbiased enough to be able to look objectively' and weigh up the report accordingly. This would make it in the best interest of the envoy to make an effort to be unbiased, because when something really does need a nerf or buff they have a bigger chance to be listened too.

TLDR: Refer to fable 'the little merian boy who cried Murphy' aka 'the boy who cried wolf'

Not everything is black and white, and the Envoys can be a big gray area. I believe the problem is that the admins don't play the game, and thus they're not acutely aware of the interactions changes will have with other abilities. (I'm sure it's been said before, but perhaps it bears repeating.)

Actually they've managed to get snowed in a few times now.
