I'm on almost half the day, I go die twice and log off to pick someone up. I log in to see I'm disfavoured. Why am I the only person that gets bitched at because I have censor.gif to do. Or since when is anyone disfavored for not being able to or even not wanting to.

Log, or it didn't happen.

Theres the log

Did you let the people you were with that you had to go? If you didn't then they will take it as a sign of abandonment but usually if you send the "leader" of the group a tell saying real life's calling then they tend to not be so harsh.

Care to explain to me why anyone should be able to tell me when I can log off?

Let's see:

1) You afk influence the guards.
2) You continue to afk influence the guards even when there's a raid going on.

If those aren't reasons enough to get yourself a bad name in Glomdoring, I don't know what are.

Lol, Celina was the worst for QQing or hiding in a manse during a raid while she was in Mag, this is too funny.

Yeah right.

I don't afk Influence, I have my system designed to not allow me to so. I may sit there and wait for them to become influencable again. But that has nothing to do with me being able to log off without getting influenced. That added what marks me as a combatant. You don't disfavour half the people that don't fight so why me EVEN THOUGH I DID.
Talan2009-08-05 04:07:32
Talk to me IC.

Yarly, and you know it. You'd bitch over Jhagar about a raid, and how "you didn't feel like it and you were in your manse".

That's not what I meant. What I am saying is if you have Real Life butting its head, then you NEED To tell someone that's what's going on. To let them know you aren't simply walking away from what is a possibly VERY important time for the commune. You have to remember to distinguish RL and In-game. From Celina's view point (and possibly others who saw) they saw a commune member walking a way, not a player who had to go. You see it as a player, who needed to walk away, and not the character. Hopefully that makes sense.

edit: erp wrong word used.

Reminds me of when I got TDF'd by Charune for having to QQ during a raid because I had to go to bed, with school in the morning.

Oh well, it happens.

I hate to ruin it when we have some drama for a change, but this is a rant thread of the variety that should now be handled by support or stay IC (it's clearly not constructive criticism of any sort.)
Eventru2009-08-05 05:53:45
And, as an addendum to Shiri, if someone's AFK influencing, you should be issuing - it's a shrubbable offense.
