The "consequences" people never get any perspective. Weird.

I think you missed his point. Simply, at this point Glomdoring at least has little information to go off of other than speculation (or if there is more known, then only a few of the Shadow Court are aware of it). As for helping Maeve I think you might've missed the posts where she's running around killing commune people. Simply put, we do not have the luxury of being spoon-fed details.
Of course, the point he was making was the fallacy of your claims that the communes aren't doing anything.

Weren't. Not aren't. It's different times. While we were gathering fae for Raziela's healing, no one did anything to save Maeve, nor could you. Maeve didn't know that, and whomever wrote her response lines did an excellent job in making you feel sorry for an otherwise almost universally loathed character. I wasn't demeaning the forests. I was praising whomever wrote those lines.
And no, see the point is that Celest has the freedom of choice. You can try to come with your prophecies of doom and gloom, and as long as you do that, Celest won't help you. If you want our help, then you'll have to swallow your pride, because for once we have the freedom of choice. We can help those who helped our most precious Supernal, or we can help the traitors who keep lying and stabbing us in the back. The ball's in your court. We're awaiting your response.

These forums are funny. I truly hope some of you aren't getting upset in real life as much as your impassioned typing suggests. Go cry in game like I do.
Unknown2009-07-30 14:12:06
Much like Celest had two choices (Magnagora or Serenwilde/Glomdoring), the communes also have choices. You're not our only option.
Eventru2009-07-30 14:13:54
Precisely! Everyone has, and still has, a choice. Everything moves at your collective pace!
Kiradawea2009-07-30 14:15:15
Of course you do. Celest still enjoys the benefit of freedom of choice, and a Raziela that's finally unbound.
Eventru2009-07-30 14:20:09
Let's remember to keep the topic civil (since everything's calmed down).

Er... I'm not sure if you're aware, but Glomdoring made the effort to form a treaty with Celest. However, Celest never answered. Hence why we proceeded with the attack on the supernal. The ball, as you say, was in Celest's court, and they chose to not respond to Glomdoring. But hey, go ahead. Destroy ethereal. I'd -love- to see what happens then.

It's not inconcievable that what the demon lord gets out of it is this advance into ethereal, and that Raziela would in the long term provide another enemy for the communes.
Really though, Raziela is one of the big 4 from Celest and the mythos I think. She's not going to stay bound up forever!

True, I guess my point is that there are still places for this to go.
Though my favourite part of this whole thing is that this is all because Raz was stopped from performing a function that Celest claims they have no interest in.
I'm still thinking there are ways that this can screw each org over, I may very well lmao if there is a quest line that actually drains all that power from both cities. If the same amount then this could cause Mag to come out ahead, the forests could break even or one gain if only one can complete it and Celest would lose out but get the ability to convert fae which their laws prevent them from exercising.
Taking the comments to Kiradawea to pm, cause well... Her posts make me laugh... long and hard, so I hope to elicit more entertainment from her without completely trashing the thread.

Failed miserably 3 times on Serenwilde Avatar. Obviously killed the Glom avatar because the green names never show up to help with that. My timestamps are central standard.
After climbing over the corpses being hand-held by certain Divine (though who even cares at this point, it's not like he doesn't do this every single time):

Way to bait the playerbase praying you get to zapmaggot. Quality administrator. I'm sure the five Gloms online recognize the supremacy of the Elemental Plane and whose ass they should be kissing.

If it matters much to you (unfortunately I suspect it doesn't, judging by the acidity with which you speak about me in a general sense, nonetheless here), the shout was because an error occurred in which the quest bugged out and didn't give the proper planemotes etc, so there was a very large, 'Is that it? What next?' - and versus hunting them down (which can take several minutes, if not more) - a quick shout sufficed. And then the malarious remark was because he made a cute little, 'What about me?!' - and certainly, I've been in a good mood and obligingly corrected myself.
As an aside, I haven't gotten to zap much of late - I don't particularly care, if Eventru is treated with the respect due an Elder God, then the zaps don't really need to come out, do they? The last zap was for a seren order member who mistelled comments to another order member about strategies that had been commented on the outer circle aether, fairly well deserved, I'd think.
I apologize if you felt it unnecessary to shout, even had the proper messages been sent, Eventru probably would have anyway. You are welcome to pretend as if you never saw those shouts! I won't be offended. Hours of encouraging, millions of essence spent on favours for people who were constantly dying (raiding with fewer people than they really should for an Avatar Raid besides, many of them relatively not common raiders), there was certainly a very chuffed feeling to go with seeing normally non-involved people like Richter doing whatever they can for their city - because for the first time in months, they saw a chance at victory.

I think the reason people don't treat Eventru with respect is because he doesn't act like he deserves it IG. You're the Exalted One, supposedly a First Circle Elder God designed to be a leader, yet you don't encourage respect. Had this been a Fain shout it would have been better thought out and all the more cutting because it was RP appropriate, due to my RP I don't like Fain but I respect him for being a hard bastard.
But to say Veritably Agreed to a Kiss my ass shout? Come on.
EDIT: Oh I should add, I don't like Fain ICly, OOCly I think he's awesome.

I'd like to offer a small rave for this event, and for the afk-in-a-manse-trumps-all Globglob tactic: I'm sure getting a lot more RL stuff done lately, thanks to Lusternia making itself increasingly unwelcoming. Thanks!

That I think you should be sacked is neither here nor there, this is just another fabulous example of your inability to use discretion. Veritably agree to the statement "kiss my ass" is not a "is that it, what is it next?" it's a taunt, jibe, jab, whatever you want to call it. You have a long history of zapping even when unnecessary, but with the game hard up for a Celest admin I'm sure they're just going to keep shrugging at your antics. Especially say zapping someone who has just left an administrative meeting with Roark and is in the process of logging out.
Hours of encouraging, disclosing details, using favours to weight odds and add damage reduction, raiding with a gigantic zerg as shown in a screenshot, and for the first time in months that many people were on when the communes combined had less than one side of the dual side facing them. I'm not sure why you are trying to spin doctor it, but so far it's just you doing the normal "LOOK AT ME" dance and then passing it off as some "greater good" gesture.
