I'd like to note, for the record, that the Xion initiative party was pretty much wiped at least twice before we were able to kill Luna. To head off the "no defenders" argument. And even in Celest this is far from over. 125K might be a bit much, but it worked to open eyes, get people off their tails, etc.. And even many in Celest are unsure about just LETTING the DLs have Faethorn.

Yeah, if people think the Xion Initiative was a walk through the park, they weren't paying attention! Lets give credit where credit is do.

Hmm, perhaps if the Communes somehow free Maeve the power could go rushing back in! Who knows. It would be interesting.

oh now now. just cause some people are getting a good laugh dont mean people are mags rl shiri. i thought it was funny when mags would get beat down when i was in seren too. no one ever said ONLY IN SERENWILDE that i can recall.

It's funny that you should say that though, because again, there aren't any players of Celestian characters reaching and trying to justify it as valid in the thread...I guess they just tend to gravitate that way.

Anyway, 125k power isn't even a big deal on the principle that we might get it all back later since it wasn't just "the other side of a quest", I just find the trend interesting considering how much people ostensibly don't belong to their character's city IRL biggrin.gif

EDIT: Also, maybe this is an opportunity to finally replace Maeve with Dandelion...suspicious.gif

Anyways!

Again, the event isn't over so you are jumping to conclusions that there isn't a way that communes aren't going to recoup part of that loss.

I guess we could retroactively change the amounts if everyone wants us to, but let's see how things play out, yes?

I personally think this is good enough. 250k is hefty, but if the majority of it is just a short-term loss, I think everyone can breathe!

Or maybe would make it like squeezing where a mosquito is sucking the blood from you and they can make Magnagora explode...

I -insist- on the power cost being adjusted.

Also, 47 members in here, let's see if the drama can break our record.

Well, there you go, people. If you feel you have been hurt, wounded deeply even, by this power loss, then indicate your want.

Like Sarra did.

This is like an orgy of complaining and Magnagorans are kinky as always and trying to get off by justifying it. Also, yeah, I think the power loss should be changed.

And Kinson for refusing to give the nut two days ago (or whoever that Seren GM is that refused to do anything without Asmodea), and Serenwilde for choosing not to raid Celestia last night... heh. The cities took advantage of a hole in the Hai'Gloh, good for them. It was about time.

My only issue is this power thing. In the past when we've been told "Hey, don't worry, things will turn around later in the event!" it does not actually happen that way (often, it's a small gesture)... so I would like to request that you take a look at it again and ensure that it isn't a sop, as that's going to just exacerbate the matter. :/

You the admin should really take note of Xenthos' last statement. I'm happy my dislike is known, but you've now gone as far as saying that something will happen later to make this all seem ok. I don't know if that is backtracking in order to calm us down or a planned part of the event, if I'm honest from the forum reaction you guys have shown I'd say the first.

A sop would exacerbate the matter in the extreme, in many cases we'd rather a tactic admission of a mistake and backtracking than trying to fix things adhoc.

I support this.

Edit: Only if the explosion tosses me into Glomdoring and auto-citizens me, though.

im not sure but apparently some of you missed where estarra said "the event isnt over" and "there is still a chance you all could get part of the power back somehow" so uh, quit bitching and figure out what to do ic to get your power back? just sayin..

Wait until Mag logs off or gets bored?
Vathael2009-07-30 03:37:17
though.. as a side note, dont figure it out before sunday! i need some fun this weekend. sad.gif
Shaddus2009-07-30 03:37:35
So, now perhaps Celest's usual players can log off their Glom alts and play Celest again.
Sarrasri2009-07-30 03:38:24
They already have and logged on their Mag alts.
Shaddus2009-07-30 03:39:52
I'm thinking now is the time Glom may want to try and trade Nyir back in for that power hide.gif

I know I didn't, and neither did Chade.

My request was just that there be a second look at the "return" part to ensure it's enough that it does not feel like a sop. Before we get to that point, so as to keep things amicable. Or at least from breaking down!
