I went 6-1 earlier stealing kills with soul reaper's aura, pretty hilarious. Probably just fluke though.

Had a pretty fun game with Silferras and Bali and some other guy last night, was pretty fun although we lost in the end due to poorly scaling heroes (pyro/magmus/etc.)

After the bloodstone (sacstone) nerf I honestly don't even know what the hell to do with Soul Reaper. A lot of what made him so good was how he could just stack charges and become unkillable while his aura and spammed death pulse killed everyone and I'm not sure what he should do now. Bracerstack+kuldra? Barrier idol? It's hard to say.

I have no idea what he's meant to do either, his aura is SLOWWWWWWWW and I find past early game I can spam pulse a lot anyway...and am really fragile...idk. Still, it's pretty funny watching people chomp all their runes without you ever doing anything during lanes.

Also, woah, now plaguebearer isn't a teapot he is thoroughly badass. And painful, ow.

See, the way he was played in DotA prior to the latest version was as a kind of spell carry; once you got 4+ charges on your bloodstone you would just wander into team fights and sit there virtually unkillable, dealing 1.25% of their max health per second and giving a 250 nuke/125 heal every 5 seconds, but with bloodstone not giving health regen anymore I can't imagine that working as well as it used to.

On the other hand, I can see the new sacstone being absolutely hilarious on Electrician.

I don't know, maybe. Icefrog kept changing the numbers on it for like 5 versions in a row so I can't remember what it is now.

There were new dota changes recently and they mirrored a lot of them. Typically Soul reaper is the "anti carry." Dude gets below 51%, zip zap he's gone.

@gelo - you can disconnect when you get a victory/defeat noise and your points (stats?) will still be counted.

I got a League of Legends beta key from here. The graphics are ridiculously terrible, even Warcraft 3 has better. I've only played one game so far, might try it again but I didn't really care for it much. The RPG elements thing really turns me off of it too (you have to accumulate runes and stuff by winning games to make your characters more powerful, it's dumb).

Seriously. I want to play, but the aesthetic is GODAWFUL. The client and interface are terrible too. It's amazing how they made it worse than WC3 in both aspects. HON is incredibly polished by comparison and LOL is almost out of closed BETA.

I have a LOL key btw so if anyone I like wants one ping me. I mean, just in case you think you can handle it...

LoL is sadly terrible. It goes deeper than those elements, down to control and some missing core principles in DotA that HoN ported.

That isn't to say HoN isn't starting to screw the pooch with their unique heroes...
