I am glad other people have the cow bell too!
I hate having to run through villages Magnagora doesn't own and -hoping- no one comes to yell at me. And then running around getting things. Which repop fast on me. So much hate. So the bell is awesome!
Unknown2009-12-25 04:51:27
Easily solution is to ignore people yelling at you.
Shaddus2009-12-25 05:03:08
Guys, I got a fever. And the only perscription is moar cowbell!

I was talking about essence! Zixen was being dumb and saying that they could take ours, but we would be being aggressive to take theirs!

So earlier I was wondering, 'hey, what exactly does a Fleshpot look like?' hadn't really had the time to check them before while running around on my Gaudi alt. Turns out they don't look even remotely like pots... these three are my favorites. D:
QUOTE
In some grotesque mimicry of plant-life, the Fleshpot of Slaavi rises out of the ground on an impossibly thin stalk, flesh-coloured tendrils shoot off at various angles in limp imagery of branches, each twitching compulsively. At the top of the stem a layer of calloused, peeled back flesh opens into a gargantuan, blossoming flower. Tucked amongst the many folds of skin, muscle and bodily tissue grows a monstrously large mouth, moist red lips smacking occasionally to produce an unsettling kissing noise. Great white teeth can be seen within, a lolling tongue rolling about just beyond reach. Great rivulets of tan liquid bubble over the lips, seeping from the corners like caustic, flesh-toned drool.
QUOTE
Great nerves and fibrous tendrils of muscle dig into the fleshy environs at the base of this fleshpot, rooting it firmly into the ground, the network of root-like parts melding seamlessly back into its underside. Broad and round, the Fleshpot of Hakii has four sides, each taking the form of a limbless, headless torso. Upon one side the masculine, chiseled form of an athletic male exists, lean muscles rippling as the fleshpot sways from side to side. Completely opposite, however, is its extreme - grotesquely obese and its gender questionable, only further obfuscated by a rotund belly. Between these facets of the Fleshpot of Hakii exist their gender opposites - a shapely, feminine form of smooth, tender skin and a horridly obese, only vaguely feminine structure. Two features remain consistent among them, however - the layers of petals that surround their hips and move in a skirt all the way across, their fleshy originations causing them to seep a viscous fluid from which the fleshpot feeds, and a peculiar lack of a belly button.
QUOTE
Thicking, arching roots rise up from a pool of flesh-toned soup, the semi-fluid contents bubbling and frothing with the consistency of mud, growing upwards into the thick and twisting trunk of the Fleshpot of Phlo. Looking like many nerves, arteries and strips of musculature twisted about each other, the trunk wavers back and worth, rhythmically pulsating bulges of skin-sacs hanging from its trunk as they pump fluid to the rest of its form. At the top of the body a great flower blossoms, its petals composed entirely of muscle, skin and other forms of bodily tissue and flesh. At the base of the flower, small tendrils reach out from underneath, each a thin, wire-like nerve that twists impossibly through the air ending in one of a plethora of noses, some more human than others. The air is constantly filled with the gentle sounds of sniffing, though never do any of the noses move to do so themselves.

l administrator
A cold looking woman, this administrator appears to be one trill who's feathers are not easily ruffled. Garbed in a conservative gown of sky-blue cotton, the ruffled skirt and pleated trimmings swishing softly as she moves, she has but three accessories - a crystal bangle upon one wrist, a pair of rosy quartz spectacles upon her nose, and a glass beret holding the dark brown feathers that dust the top of her head into a tight bun. She keeps her great wings tucked close to her form, her brown and white plumage shifting in the wind.
A city administrator is not one to be trifled with.

I like that first line, but the overall effect is kind of cool.

Typo that with the # and such - fairly sure it should be "whose feathers" in the first sentence!

One of the largest of the fleshpots, the Fleshpot of Yig consumes much of his chamber and growing space. His stalk made of a many ridged layers of calloused flesh layered over one another like scales, all of them curving slightly as they reach upward, branches off at the top with long branches, each a mere stem for the massive leaves this fleshpot is known for. Great fan-like layers of skin with a streak of tissue running down the centre, leading back into the branch, each of the leaves is of a slightly different skin tone, some a scaled, rich blue while others a tough hide of brown, several a dark, smooth tanned while one, curled leaf, only beginning to open, bears the pink, smooth complexion of some newbie humans. All across the top of the stalk, from which the great leaves grow, a skirt-like layer of flesh has been made, composed of petals made entirely of flesh, many of them weeping with a viscous, flesh-toned fluid.
There are 16 flesh petals growing within its bud.
The Fleshpot of Yig has an air of extreme strength.
He weighs about 1785 pounds.
He is loyal to the Vortex.
