Iola! Come back! Also if anyone is in touch with her, please PM me.

Aramel and Alianna aren't exactly long-lost but they should come back too. happy.gif

Used to be in touch with Iola but she's kind of dropped off my Radar! Same with Ibaesha. Been talking to Tsuki a bit now and then but she seems uh, gone for the indefinite future sad.gif

Hi. I have been thinking about this for sometime now. Have you ever met some characters that you had fun RPing but have since gone dormant? I know some players lurk about the forums so if they knew their characters are missed, they will wake them up again?

For me, awhile while back my main (with a different name), met a character named azman. The first few times my main talked to him, I thought he was another aloof-snob shadowdancer but after awhile I realized azman was just quiet and bashful, which was surprising because he was old. (One of those guys who left serenwilde for glomdoring in the beginning. Now only Marina and Moralis are left. Though I am probably wrong cause my history is terrible!) Anyway I had a blast RPing with azman. He is actually one of those characters who was deep. You know you're lucky if you found one, you know? He sewed me stuff (I was still new) and never asked anything back and even told me short stories, which was awesome! He had sort of a seductive way about him, and I'm a guy! which is freakin cool! (and disturbing if I think about it. AND I DONT WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT! mellow.gif ) Anyway Azman had an interesting story about his family which he told me in pieces then he went dormant for a long time now and I never get to hear the end which bugs me.

So if you know characters you had a blast RPing with but now is asleep, lets poke-nudge-kiss-kick them and hope they wake up! Lusternia's the best!!!! wahoo.gif

Er, I wasn't one of the ones who left Serenwilde for Glomdoring. I got ousted when my character was 27 or 28. After that, I was a rogue until around 103 or so years of age IC. I was a rogue for a really, really long time.

But to add to the list:

Merloch
Shayle
Gwynevere
Deas
Ishimoru
Ichiro

Since I have been back, there are sooo many people that I miss! I will always miss Shayle, she was who I most wanted my characters to be like. I cannot say enough good things about her. I also miss a lot of the original Harbingers, like Nirrti and others. From my old characters I miss.... Brona, Akasha...Jello...and others that first came to check out Lusternia from Imperian.

I also miss Llexyn, Silvanus, Veonira...Kaervas... hmm let me think, I know there are a ton more.

I haven't seen Druken since I've been back, nor Desitrus (talked to him once at least), I miss Bael and the other nuts I used to bad clan with. I also miss Ellinwood, Ashai...too many more to remember all at once. sad.gif At least I still have Eliron and Urazial!! <3 Oh! I forgot Valarien and Arel too!!
Bhiele2009-11-05 04:47:12
Yay for Balizar! I forgot how much I missed and heart Bali!
Seraku2009-11-05 23:52:21
Rusakon, really really miss that guy.

I want to see if this rings any bells. The first time I tried Lusternia, years back and shortly after it was opened to the public, I played a Trill Paladin novice. My recollection may be shot, but the things I can distinctly remember were hacking gnomes with wooden swords then chastising another novice for doing the same thing, the city being utterly obliterated by Magnagora, an overpowered racial balance recovery, and an interesting old character.

All I can remember about that character was that he was a Dracnari Knight who took me in and brought me to his manse, which was a vast cavern of crystals. He taught me the basics of what it meant to be a paladin and lectured me on the history of his people until my eyes glazed over. Actually one of my fonder memories, as I've never had such an involved mentor since. wub.gif

Anyone know who this might have been?

That, coupled with your avatar, made me giggle.

You sir, are a man of impeccable wit and your judgment is good.

There are so many people I really, really miss. Magnagora hasn't been the same for quite a while now, simply because a lot of who people saw as the 'old guard' have disappeared.

Aiakon was amazing, truly, and his roleplay brought a lot of life to Magnagora.
Gerald.
Nokraenom just for being too damn awesomely amazing for words.
Ashar for all the work he put into making the Demon Lords relevant when they so easily become only mechanics.
Vauraugli for trying so hard with his roleplay and helping novices.
Drago.
Jadryga.
Jacquin.
Torak.
Eiru.
Jack.
Guido.
Sethai.
Rhysus.
Forren.
Tully, too!

I've personally always wanted to meet Aiakon or Guido.

I miss Aiakon so much... He was one of the main reasons I decided to give Lusternia a try. He is one of those people that you wont miss him if you never met him but your Lusternian life wont be as good without him.

Sudoxe!

Oh my god, this place raised me. You, reading this, think I am joking. I am not. It explains far too much not to be true.

Some of this people might still play, in which case I'm just threadjacking somewhat to remember old times here and there.

I was never really someone central to a clique on Lusternia - playtime too limited except for a very few months. I spent a lot of time as "that dude." But there were four of us who hung out together way too much, so I can point to Ashteru (Austria? Austria. Effing Austria. I'll find him!), Arel (He...I just can't get up the heart to talk to him), and Valarien (we kept in touch until the Marines instituted a "no social media" policy. Next time I'm getting a legit number). The Eviltastic Conspiracy. Some of the stuff we did was ridiculous, and some of it was exceedingly stressful. But it was a good group.

Shayle. Along with Yeralih (still playing, I think?), Xavius (alt habit), and Xenthos (jesus christ man) - all formative influences on me not just on Lusternia but in real life, beneath it all.

Missing members of my family/skeleton hearth crew - Daem. Synl(?). KALODAN. Leiliadhe. Arkzrael. Normally Thul would go here but the bastard got back into the gig.

Awesome people from the old school Cacophony/viscanti nobility I got to know on my longest-lived alt - Ranadae, Linaeve, Sthai.

Guido and Jack. Made me feel a bit like I was part of the cool set even when I was fourteen and clueless.

Awesome RP people from Glomdoring. Amarysse, Xinemus, Josun, Emar.

That's definitely not all. I barely count, of course, but it was a fun exercise.
