You don't know how to RP then, and yes notoriety, you have no idea how many times someone kicks a Tide Lord or Angel and everyone on Ct goes "LolUrazial?" Some of us don't even respond, but sometimes Urazial will gank someone good. Thus, notoriety.

We actually agree. We'll likely chop the entire forest down again for every time we see lame hit and run raids by Urazial/Asmodea/Celina/etc.

Yes, we're used to the 4am raids with 15 city combatants against the 6 commune noncoms.

At least Celina usually sticks around and fights. Whenever I hear a cry for help I'll check the powerlogs. If it's Urazial, I don't even bother reporting it.

I remember that! That was right after I started playing, and I enjoyed it - being the underdog means there's always work to do and even the newbies can become important people. I drifted away when Glom started to rise to power, but I came back the other day (*blame Teo*, I saw he's reading this thread) and I hear that Glom is being beaten up, so I've got an urge to return now...

What he said. Or at least, it is certainly true for Aetolia, and I must assume that it is the same here. Take it from one who knows, it is much much better to be playing a game where your side is losing horribly, than it is to be playing a game where nothing happens at all (read: vast periods of Aetolia).

If you've never lost a fight but still thought, "Well, that was a fun fight at least," then really, these muds are not for you. Someone has to lose, and sure it goes in cycles, but if you just relax a bit and allow yourself to enjoy the game win or lose, you'll be a lot happier.

Its true that this is difficult to do if you really care about your level. If you want to be level 100, take time out from general RP, get your level, then return to playing the game properly. Most people can't do both, so don't bother trying.

I'm sure Mag players will post disagreeing in seconds, but you raided even without Urazial kick-running, Narsrim and numerous people occupy Ethereal and Faethorn when he isn't around, for hours on end. It's just a lame excuse you wheel out for when he is around. No one ever made that excuse up to hit Celest when Dysolis did it, just Urazial is viewed as a soft target. If you're griefing someone, admit it you're griefing them you don't need to pretend one person justifies killing EVERY daughter two or three times a day and occupying Faethorn and Ethereal when you get away with it, which is during off-peak when the communes are normally weaker than Magnagora.

I am aware I have ranted in the past in favour of Magnagora, so I apologise in advance over hypocrisy.

Perhaps you should get your facts straight little Ixion. I've never kicked and ran. I kill until I am out numbered and the only time I have ran from you was when you and Iytha caught me on Nil just recently after I slew all the demons there then all you did was run like a little child around Faethorn away from me. So don't call the kettle black if you are black yourself.
