If Aetherbashing is anything to base it off 1% at 99 is the equivalent to 5% at level 98.

That's because you're not reading what I'm saying.
Aetherbashing, by all numbers I've been observing and gathering, is not based off of raw experience numbers. A level 80 might be getting 0.5% a kill whereas a level 98 is getting 0.05% a kill. Level 98 takes far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far more than 10x the experience of 80, but in aetherbashing terms it does not.
As such, it's not based on raw experience numbers but instead the number of levels one is trying to get. 70-90 is 20 levels, whereas 97-99 is 2 levels. 97-99 is less. The experience Chade has been gathering? At the same time we've had newbies on the ship, who were (while he was zipping through 98) getting the same experience I'd have gotten them on a Kepheran bashing expedition.

Right, that is what my initial post said!
I was asking if that was still the case after the nerfs, and if so, I think that's what the main problem is. Not the amount of xp, but the fact that xp is scaled based on level on the higher levels.
No place else is xp scaled for the 90-99 levels so it's going to be TONS faster if here it is scaled even a little.

No, your initial post asked if everyone was getting the same percent. I said no, because they're not. I did go on to say that it is scaled, just not quite to that extent.

Never was, but it's not a flat amount of experience either. It is curved slightly based on level. The curve appeared to be too high for people in the 90s, but it was already pretty low for lower levels after the most recent nerf (I could level people about the same speed in Kepheran hives in their 60s and 70s), and essence gain was about the same as a good astral bash.

if it takes 1,000 xp to go from 80-81, and 10,000 xp to go from 90-91, but 80 gets 1% per kill, and 90 gets .9% per kill, that sounds like a drastic curve to me, not a "slight" curve.
i.e., one person is getting 10 xp per kill, and the other person is getting 90 xp per kill. or a 900% increase!

By "slight" I mean "at first glance it looks like they're learning less, percentage-wise. Until you stop and think about it and realize there's something funky going on." Heh.

That's a big boast, but exp in Lusternia is the easiest thing ever comparatively. We should just say thanks and go about our hunting trips. If anything, all exp can be nerfed again across the board and it'd be good.

I really wish the Administration would explain their stance on demigods. If it's supposed to be the baseline, then that would probably clear a lot up. If that is the case, you should probably buff bashing and influencing too.

Lot of you guys had pre-nerf Astral though. Its just the flavour of the month. I still say it needs nerfing more though.

I am not saying I think that aetherbashing is perfect for balance, but I still do say that (especially after me not able to use my raze mod without power bashing) it's way harder to bash from circle to circle using astral/underdark and all that other crap.

I recently bashed to 99 in Aet, and was running a script while I did so that was averaging exp of each mob type and telling me how many kills left per level, etc. By the time I was in the late 90s, it was around 1800-2500 of the highest level bashing targets per level. As one of the best two bashing classes, with L2 crit artifact, I was making roughly 1 million exp in 10 minutes when it was going well - though that depended on me getting the 'best' bashing areas, which are limited in Aetolia, and contested.
How does that compare to the various types of bashing here in Lusternia? (Bearing in mind that once you get to around 94ish, crit rate really tends to speed things up, so a comparison to low levels is meaningless.)

Starting at zero, after throwing in a handful of lessons in Aethercraft, you can be critting just as well as someone in the 90's in about a week, and that's only because you can only get so many proficiency points per day. At least, I assume so since I'm middling skilled in Aethercraft and was getting regular crits at five percent, and VERY regular crits at 17%(where I stopped).
And then, as mentioned earlier (or was that in the other thread?), a Titan is reporting getting .13 per dragon. That's just a hair under 800 creatures to bash to go from 99 to 100. Also keep in mind that you're not alone, there's maybe five other people getting the same benefit, three of them gunners.

No idea, but at worst you can go do easier things. I've been hearing that even gargantuans are doing .06 for some people still, about half a dragon. So 1600-ish virtually risk-free mobs to kill to get five people from 99-100, versus Teo's reported 1800-2500 highest-level mobs at (assumably) substantial risk to get one person from 99-100.

My experience tracker script is predicting 4000 more kills before I get to 100 (Lev 99.35 at the moment). Assuming that final level is 330 mil here as well, I don't know whether to laugh or consider bashing to 100 here as well. How does that compare to non-aethercraft bashing? It is a little tricky to compare directly because Lusternia doesn't show exact experience gained from each kill, but I'm wondering if xp gain is significantly higher here in general, with aethercraft just being higher again?

It just really depends. From what I hear, Astral is pretty much the highest regular-bashing place you can hit up. Endless high-level monsters, very high experience. It's nice, but you can only stay so long on the Astral plane before you go insane. From the normal non-Astral things I've been bashing, it seems a bit lower if anything, especially compared to Imperian.
