So yeah, about an hour ago both of my gmail accounts got hacked and it seems is mainly because someone wanted access to my frozen wow accounts... I feel like crawling into a hole somewhere

This reminds me, my mom got an email apparently saying her WoW account info has changed.

She doesn't have one, and never has.

I totally got an email from Geoffrey from Bolivia, who needs help transferring his family fortune across national borders!

But back on topic, hi Charune, World of Warcraft truly is the root of all evil when it comes to people trying to rip you off (always the damn azns). I've seen pretty much every trick though, and I just don't know how people fall for it. :/

Time for the bright side,

I got back into my accounts (gmail and WoW) and I'm fairly sure I had maybe 100 gold... I can now ride around on my very own epic flying mount with 700+ gold to spare.

Though it has me worried about gmails security as whoever was in managed to get back in a few minutes after I reset my password and booted them out. One thing I found were some notes about cross site requests being exploited which was still an issue at the end of last year when it was uncovered a year earlier

Any idea where that's happening, exactly? Now I'm kinda concerned o.O

No unfortunatley, It hasn't happened again so I may have avoided something... or they know that getting back in won't get them my accounts anymore. My new favourite feature of gmail is the details link at the bottom though I freak when I see my phones dynamic ip till i see the note about mobile.
