In all honesty, this is somewhat...commonplace and usual, but I thought it entertaining. Tadian had a "meeting" with Telperion to discuss things, and Tadian needed some assistance.

QUOTE
Stroking his beard, you say, "When do you go to meet this city-dweller?"

Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade says, "A few minutes ago."

Your eyes sparkle with amusement.

You say, "Where will you be meeting him?"

Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade says, "Originally it was his manse or shop, now the World Library."

Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade sticks out his tongue and says, "Cannot stall him any longer."

You say, "There are two things I can offer you. I myself can come with you, or, I may send my wolf to listen in on the conversation, and assist you when needed."

Tadian puts his hands on his hips and goes "Hmmm!"

Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade says, "In theory no one else is to come."

You nod your head emphatically.

You call out through your bond, urging a black direwolf to return to you.

A black direwolf rushes in quickly, circling you briefly before settling at your side.

Tadian greets a black direwolf with a sincere smile.

You pet a black direwolf ingratiatingly.

Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade says, "Hello Fjorg."
You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Hello Fjorg."

The corners of Tadian's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.

Your order is obeyed.
A black direwolf begins to follow Tadian.

Bone desk dominated compartment.
Against the callous flesh of the hardened walls stands a row of identical black bone desks, complete with quills carved from feathers from the great Crow himself and a deep well of the black blood, replenished naturally from the mighty Ebon, fluid and free from ineffectual layers of coagulated scab. A white bone inlay of the living Tree adorns the surface of each the desks, splashing life into the heavy atmosphere of concentration and cerebral labour. Opposite the line of desks a high bookcase of black bone looms ominously, preserving a multitude of meditative tomes and thoughtful books on contemplation and decision, engraved with the symbol of the wise Bear, thoughtful and strong. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. A platinum eye sigil is here. A black direwolf is here, blending in with the shadows. Tadian is here, pondering thoughtfully. He wields a steel claymore with both hands.
You see a single exit leading east.

Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade says to you, "Thank you."
You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Thank you."

You nod your head emphatically.

You give Tadian a respectful salute.

Tadian gives you a respectful salute.

You say, "Do the Ebonguard proud."
You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tynghall says, "Do the Ebonguard proud."

Tadian gives Shiawase a respectful salute.

You now possess the gift of the third eye.

Before the Master Ravenwood Tree.
The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. Brennan Stormcrow paces here, his cadaverous body twitching with sudden jerks. The Master Ravenwood Tree towers over everything here, pulsing with an immeasurable yet dark power. A mature blackthorn tree stands proudly here. Casting darkness all around, a shadow totem thrusts up from the ground, chilling the air. A black direwolf is here, blending in with the shadows. There are 10 dark nighthags here. His sinister red eyes constantly moving about the area, a shadowlord pauses here. Covered in bone armour, a giant bat hangs here, wings folded about its body and one beady eye open. There are 2 illithoid scourges here. Nekai at the ready, an illithoid shade stands guard here. Covered in bone armour, a green eyelash viper is slithering about here. In the shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. An ancient and skeletal tree surrounded by bushes of glittering black roses stands tall against the test of time. An animated skeleton stands here with a ghostly outline of a spider around its skull. An animated skeleton stands here with a ghostly outline of a bat around its skull. An animated skeleton stands here with a ghostly outline of a beetle around its skull. An animated skeleton stands here with a ghostly outline of a wasp around its skull. There are 8 shadowlord widowriders here. There are 85 iridescent spores here. Surrounded by domothean death energies, an enormous map of the Catacombs of the Dead stretches across the open air.
You see a single exit leading north.
An illithoid scourge nods his head at you.

You look through the mind of a black direwolf:
Atrium of the World Library.
The area is suffused with an eerie, deep blue light, signifying a healing shrine of Elostian nearby. The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. Several large pillars mark the entrance of the World Library, framing the large wooden doors that stand on all sides of this impressive atrium. The doors are beautifully engraved with vines and leaves, providing an impressive contrast from the smooth pillars on its sides. Large clear windows are set into the walls, providing a dazzling view of the plateau before the world library as well as the mountain range that lies beyond it. A black direwolf is here, blending in with the shadows. Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade is here. He wields a steel claymore with both hands. You may use the LIBRARY commands here.
You see exits leading east (open door), southwest (open door), northwest (open door), and down.

Tadian tells you, "You can hear, see, or both?"

You tell Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade, "I am able to do both."

Tadian tells you, "I knew I should have picked hunting."

Sharp jerking notes hang in the air, reminiscent of Crow's caw.

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Let's see here."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "People are always sneaking up on me."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Sorry."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Permit me to introduce myself."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Used to it."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "I am Telperion Eli'Silar."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Telperion is an Elfen name and means arboreal."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Or has connotations thereof."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "But Eli'Silar means of the Starlight."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "I know little of my parents..."

The sound of a distant scream echoes between the trees, only to be suddenly cut short.

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Other than they were in a war and flung me and my siblings here for saftey."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Sorry to hear that."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Other than that things may go into madness if they are discussed."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "I am originally elfen."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "But my genetic structure is variable and my children have manifested that."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Not like the Viscanti, it is refined."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Interesting."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Changling."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "I am married, very happily to a pure Merian woman. Kalila."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "And we have many children."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "How about you?"

Midnight shadows coalesce around a new day, and Mother Night embraces the land in utter darkness.
It is now the 20th of Shanthin, 243 years after the Coming of Estarra.

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Well."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "I do not exactly have much to say of myself."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Except that I am Tadian, born and raised in the Glomdoring with no knowledge of any family as of yet."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Pertaining to the Ebonguard guild."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "How do you know you are truly Glomdoring?"

Odd sounds echo through the gloomy forest, their source undetermined.

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "I believe I am."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "On what grounds?"

Forks of black lightning strike up into the sky from the depths of the Balach Swamp, sending the dark clouds above swirling ominously.

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "I feel that Glomdoring is my home, and always has been."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "I can offer no proof however."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Question 2..."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Tell me of the Aspects of Night."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Glumki, Rhiannon and Lhiannon no?"

Tadian tells you, "Hm."

You tell Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade, "Lhiannan, Gwyllgi, and Glumki."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Who are they and what do they stand for?"

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "It is Lhiannan, Gwyllgi, and Glumki.."

You tell Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade, "Also, I would advise you to state that the teachings of Mother Night are for Her children, and not Her enemies."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Gwyllgi Ah, thank you."

Tadian tells you, "Mhm."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Rhiannon is daughter of Lhiannan and is in the Dell. That's right."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "So, start with Glumki I suppose. Who is he and what does he purpport?"

Tadian tells you, "So I can tell him nothing of the Aspects?"

You tell Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade, "I would consider it...unwise. However, that is for you to decide."

Tadian tells you, "Not that I know anything as it is."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Well."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "You see, there is a, umm, small snag."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "A snag?"

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "And that is?"

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "I know I agreed to exchange information with you."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Surely you must know of them."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Aye, you did."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "However as it is I cannot, not without breaking the code of Discipline a member of the Ebonguard must uphold."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "You must understand."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "That is hardly fair."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "It makes me wonder why?"

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "I do not write the law."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Is there something that is being hidden?"

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "In the cave of justice the pillar of Glomdoring that holds the law is blank."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "I know this..."

You tell Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade, "Do not allow him to persuade or bully you. You are an Ebonguard, and you are strong in will."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Lhiannon is a prophetess."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "And to gain her insight..."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "A baby, a mere infant is kidnapped and then killed in a ritual by Brennon."

Tadian tells you, "Mhm. I knew what I was walking into."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Then the infants blood is gathered."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "And that blood somehow allows the future events to be prophesized by her."

Tadian tells you, "Ah, will you be able to remember all this later on?"

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "And that the King of the Redcaps, he thirsts for blood. Not unlike gorgulu with a perpetual hunger."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "He craves violence."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "And he abuses his female fae."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Of Gwyllgii I do not know much."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "I can tell you this..."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "The Supernals stand for virtue."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "And I know that you have a choice in your destiny."

You tell Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade, "I have a suitable memory."

The horizon glows with burnished shades of orange and red, heralding the imminent arrival of Father Sun upon the rim of the world.

Tadian tells you, "Thank you."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Ask youself where your spirit is going? Is it growing towards the Light and towards things of spiritual strength? Or falling... falling to putrid things and to the darkness of shadows."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "My time is up. And alas I must depart."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "We can meet again."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "It may be you who are asked to kill the infant."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Or rather to kidnap it."

You tell Fly Tadian, Ward of Chade, "Ahaha. Such a foolish being."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "Ask yourself what is right."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Tadian says, "Yes, I will ponder on your words."

You hear through a black direwolf's ears: Telperion says, "I am sorry, I must leave."

Nicely done on Tadian's part integrating it into Ebonguard and not just saying because he's a Glom he can't part with such info. Even though I think that'd be an ok route to go. Interesting conversation, bit sad it was kind of sort. I'd like to see more personally. Kind of enjoy those kind of conversations.

Damn that Telperion.
