How is that piece of information a way to not attract scum attention if she were town? It hints that she knows something somehow, and if she's not actually scum, wouldn't that encourage them to go after her?

But they have no idea if that was through investigation or just a note in my role PM, and frankly, with all the names out there to go by, they should probably already have a field day of victims to choose from. By keeping my name hidden, I give them far less to go by, and keep them guessing if A) I am an investigator, and B) if I am someone they should be eliminating.

I can reveal my name, but when I do, where does that leave us? One less person for Mima to target until she finds Reimu. Believe me or not, but I know Mima has to kill Reimu herself to claim the Yin-Yang orbs.

Also, with a mason confirming Shiri, I guess I'll be giving an Unvote for now. I still feel uncertain, but I can see Shiri being town since he didn't have the information I have.

She means she's changed her mind about thinking I'm scum for suggesting the plan I did, because I didn't have the evidence she's claiming to have that there are more drawbacks to it than were immediately obvious.

Basically. I mean, I still think it's possible that Shiri wanted a mass claim because he's scum. Especially since I've yet to see a game where mass-claims help. (Remember last game? What could have happened?) However, because I know what I know, I didn't consider that a town could genuinely think that a mass claim could be a good idea. Therein lies my mistake which I'm rectifying now.

Oh, and evil Xikue for making me watch that video and thus making me want to play a bullet hell game. Why can no such games exist and be available? *sadface*

Just for the record, normally mass claims are pretty bad. It's only this game it's worthwhile later on.

So.. We got a replacement, but I haven't seen the new guy post any but he has been reading the forums. Should that be a problem? Also, I agree that finding out names at least will help down the road, although we should at least not be doing so until like... Day 4? 4+4 would be 8, should be enough time hopefully.

Anyhow, after going through the whole thread, I can't help but have uneasy feelings about Llandros still.

He said he didn't have a power role, but then goes on to say he didn't say he didn't have any powers at all - okay. A weird distinction to make in my mind, but whatever. But then goes on to specify that he doesn't have any day/night kill abilities... but the card he uses implies that his role is Yuyuko Saigyouji. Who's whole deal is the ability to kill mortals according to Touhou Wiki. (Albeit with a great sense of responsibility)

I, unlike a few others here, do believe that powers follow role in this game. So to suggest that a role whose whole thing is controlling death has nothing to do with death at all is suspect to me.

He also went very quiet once focus shift off of him and Othero. Aug 29th, Othero mentioned that he could only be killed through spell card battle by his rival, and everyone's focus shifted to that, and then to all the other little musings non-Llandros related after that until now. Llandros hasn't posted since that focus shift. This makes me think he's saying, "Good, focus is off of me. Let me lay low a little bit so seeing my name doesn't remind them of what happened, and it'll get lost in the pages of crap. If they notice me not giving my opinion on the other ideas, then I'll post."

Now, he could just have stuff going on and that's why he hasn't posted. Far be it from me to judge someone for life getting in the way. But if he's been lurking, then it's highly suspect.

I'm inclined to believe Shiri and Solanis right now. For better or worse, I'm going to pretty much ignore the Shiri/Dag fight because, well, it's Shiri and Dag. Solanis confirming Shiri is good enough for now. They're grouped together now at any rate, so if we find damning information on one, the other can pretty much go down with them straight away.

I'm also not convinced Kira is acting scummy by not liking a mass name claim. I can see Shiri's point how eventually it might be a good idea, but doing it right now would be bad, in my opinion, because scum would then get a pretty good idea of who the juicy targets are.

Also, after seeing that thing on Casi's role. I'm scared.

I have a few more things I'm forming opinions on, but this post has gotten long enough as it is. For now, until someone looks more scummy to me, or Llandros looks less scummy:

I forgot Llandros was Yuyuko. That makes things awkward, because Yuyuko is the leader of hakugyokurou, one of the areas we get a status of...meaning he's probably a good guy and at risk as well as Serella (if my guess is right.)

I'm guessing there are more areas in Touhou than are listed here then? Also thats assuming people from outside the current areas are scum. We won't know that for sure until someone dies ze~.

I can state that I know for certain that there are people who come from outside areas that are not scum, as I am from one myself. If that is the norm though, I don't know.

I already covered that. Ran and Chen are not from any specified area, and are town, so it isn't the case across the board. (Much less sure about Lorick though.)

Since I'm supporting the idea that we have non-traditional roles, I'm not against the mass-claim. I'll go ahead and say that my mistress has been revealed. I intend to defend her, so look elsewhere scum!

Stop with the name claims unless neccessary. Even if you don't believe me on the Reimu/Mima issue, then at least consider what revealing your name actually does to help the town contra how it helps scum.

Also, Xikue, you are a very cruel, cruel person.

And with AtS back (sorta) and Renthur replacing Aliod (eventually), anyone still need replacing?
