Speaking of which, my Last Word is Invisible Full Moon. Also, any clues why Shiri and Solanis's Last Word didn't fire?
Sorry, I'd like to double-check this. The entire card name is "Invisible Full Moon"?
Lorick2009-09-10 15:20:13
Other than the sign in front of it, according to my pm yes.
Unknown2009-09-10 15:27:26
Ahh. I got all confused, looking back and forth through the thread. Llandros and Othero didn't give signs in their card battle, but Daganev and Shiri did.
Lorick2009-09-10 15:28:21
Yeah, and if you notice Solanis's it doesn't either. I'm just asking for Last Words, regardless of form.

Ehehe. Sorry for being suspicious.
I have Twillight immunity, so I might as well go ahead. My Last Word is "Five Signs of the Dying Deva."

'Defending your mistress' was a pretty big clue already, in my opinion. So that's two from Hakugyokurou confirmed, I forget if anyone else lives there.. Hmm. I take it you're in favour of a mass claim too?
Also, just to confirm in case the mod pops by: we can't vote for or otherwise target for lynch anyone who's 'nowhere to be seen'?

Another question that occurred to me: is the spellcard battle restriction for the day reset?
Tekora2009-09-10 16:01:24
Modnote: Danmaku Battles are not allowed during Twilight.
Also, Silferras is correct. No voting/actions against people that are not here.

Geez. Calm down. The situation is urgent yes, but there's no reason to run around like headless chicken. Don't do claims. Nameclaims or Last Word claims. Especially not Last Word, as that tells town far less than it tells scum (scum already know who among them have Last Word and who doesn't). It's essentially partial reveal of important townies that only tells us who is powerful and who isn't. Yes, I'm thinking Last Words are served for more powerful characters (Mima, Reimu, Yukari)
Secondly, no I don't think Vendetta is Mima. Remember that Lorick said he blocked Salvation last night and would probably be blocking him again (Vendetta replaced Salvation). I think that's what happened because, as has been said, otherwise it'll be too easy.
And no. I don't think card battles have been reset. Remember, we are in the Twilight of Night 1. A new dawn hasn't begun technically. I'm sure Tekora can clarify, but until then, no unneccessary roleclaims as we can't rely on spell cards for identification.
More as I check through the thread again.

Kiradawea2009-09-10 16:06:02
Oh joy. Well that clarifies that.
Lorick2009-09-10 16:14:08
Note, Twilight occurs prior to Night, meaning all Night actions were placed on hold. If I am blocking Vendetta, then Twilight with be the first on that stack.
Lorick2009-09-10 16:15:46
Also, I think it is a misconception that Last Words only belong to powerful people.
Unknown2009-09-10 16:16:54
I don't have much against claims because scum here look like they're clearly scum (Mima, Yuka, Medicine) and a quick card battle is enough to deal with further suspicions.
Lorick2009-09-10 16:18:17
Exactly. Prior we had assumed it was neccessary to kill the leaders, that doesn't seem to be the case meaning they aren't exactly anymore important than anyone else.
Lorick2009-09-10 16:33:52
Oh, I don't believe Vendetta was part of Mima's Scum group, although I can't rule out the other. She/he (not sure off the top of my head) claimed survivor powers which seems to be a common trend among scum.
Ok Kira, I think it is around time to come clean. First, you deny revealing last words, fighting against claims when that seems to be the best way to fix this situation, reveal information which seems to have nothing to do with the current goals, and worked very hard to lynch Shiri _after_ he revealed his role. I want a claim from you at the very least.

Ok, I've got class. Be back in a few hours.

Agree with that. Given current information, claiming is going to be more beneficial to town than scum, because the characters who belong to townie locations are pretty limited to begin with. I also doubt Last Words are confined to powerful roles, since Chen had doctor powers and didn't have one, while Ran had one specific power (saving Chen), but did. My own role isn't important or powerful, but I have a Last Word.
I don't like how Kiradawea is flailing against claims - she obviously has something to hide, and I can only speculate why:
1. Key townie with a Last Word (but not Reimu, or else she wouldn't be stupid enough to give out information about Mima needing to target her, and not Yukari because Shiri and Solanis would have defended her)
2. Unimportant townie without a Last Word (in which case, she should have nothing to lose if she claims)
3. Scum with an incriminating Last Word (reluctant to claim for obvious reasons)
4. Scum without a Last Word (similar to Medicine)
So.. yeah. Vote: Kiradawea.

Reading over, Vendetta never claimed to be a survivor. The claim was "having survivorish powers", that is, having a chance to avoid negative actions taken against her. This was misunderstood to mean that V was survivor (the role), but he quickly claimed that he was in truth town. In fact, beyond Renthur's fakeclaim we haven't had any real survivor claims that I can see. And only one who claimed to not be from any of the locations, Lorick, but that wasn't quite true no?
Anyway, going for survivors (bear in mind I'm talking real survivors here, not scumvivors) is a bad idea. Remember, we have to lynch one of Mima's followers in order to stop her, so I'm thinking lynching a survivor will give the same effect as lynching a townie. Meaning, something bad.

Regarding Lorick's claim: I don't remember who it was who kept saying that he was town but not part of any of the 'location' factions, but in case I remember the correct L, Reisen is part of Eientei, which is one of those mentioned.. More hmm.

I have a Final Word. And when I'm talking about gamepower, I'm talking about storywise. Chen is Ran's shikigami, and Medicine is just a doll.
Unknown2009-09-10 18:16:35
Uh, I'm not sure where you're coming from. Lorick isn't under suspicion and his claim reinforces the speculation that scum are not from the stated locations, Vendetta is nowhere to be found and can't be lynched even if we wanted to.. So the question is, why are you defending her?
