That post was written directly after my other post, during which I was just reading through the thread and trying to regather my thoughts after being out of comission for so long. Thus I was clarifying a few misconceptions I saw at the beginning of twilight (Vendetta is survivor, there are other survivors). It wasn't meant as defense. It was meant that Lorick's roleblock might have triggered and that's why V ain't here, and that just because V is missing does that mean V is Mima. It would be too easy and deciding either way right now just ain't worth it because, as you said, V ain't here so there's not much we can do.
Lorick2009-09-10 20:03:51
I can't roleblock because it isn't night. All night actions were held once Twilight hit, meaning nothing went through. Once twilight ends, the roleblock will go through like normal if my target is still there. Vendetta claimed survivor like powers, a common claim for scum. Not the survivor role. Also, he isn't here to be targeted so changing the debate has me wondering about you. Anyone else want to help with these votes?

QUOTE (Silferras @ Sep 10 2009, 12:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Agree with that. Given current information, claiming is going to be more beneficial to town than scum, because the characters who belong to townie locations are pretty limited to begin with.
No, no, no, and no. We have a cult, that's pretty obvious with "When Mimi's follower's compose the majority of players." If you're not taking that wording as cult then you're being foolish. Role claims won't really be beneficial to town because the person who claimed on the first day and got confirmed as town is going to be a cult member on day two.
Vote: Silferras
I am now very wary of anyone who has been calling for mass claims.
Furien2009-09-10 21:43:59
'When Mima's followers compose the majority of the town' is quite capable of being synonymous with 'When you and your fellow mafiosos compose the majority of the town.'
Also- Last Words have only ever appeared in Imperishable Night. If you're from Imperishable Night or appear there as either a boss or a playable character, chances are you have a Last Word. That's all there is to it. Knowing this or not knowing this is not going to benefit the scum at all, since the Last Words are going to trigger regardless of what they do.
As for roleblocking Othero, it was just a last-ditch attempt to try and do something useful for the fellow scum. Immortality is not something you can block. In fact, you're supposed to rip out and eat Mokou's liver to actually steal the immortality, which isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Along with no night kill for two nights now?
Unknown2009-09-10 23:55:35
What's with this Vendetta being a survivor? He read his win condition as with the town.
@Othero: The second night hasn't passed yet. It's twilight.

Really Lorick. Really. You repeat what I say and then claim that I'm "changing" the subject when I'm answering Silf's question? Really? You're really starting to bug me. You pushed way too quickly for a new massclaim of sorts, without even showing regard for how it can be confirmed. (Last Words trigger upon death) You concluded that scum didn't have Last Word after just watching one instance (and one where it was shown that not all towns have Last Word either).
And then you go and hang yourself up in "it didn't happen, I didn't roleblock Vendetta". Yeah, night actions are resolved after Twilight. That's implied. But what if Mima has to spend an action to start Twilight? An action that can be roleblocked. In that case, a roleblock must be activated before Twilight happens and should activate regardless of if you successfully. Whenever I run a game, I always make sure to have a priority list, and on those lists, Roleblocks go before everything. So yes, it's entirely possible that your roleblock went through. It's also possible that it didn't and all night actions stop before Twilight because initiating Twilight isn't a scum action. The iffyness come from so vehemently refusing to even consider the idea that you might be responsible for V missing.
And then there's the "Sorry Shiri" line. That's actually a classic scum sign along the lines of voting third. With all that adding up I'm going to Vote: Lorick
(Oh, and Othero. Most if not all night actions are stopped by Twilight. We'll see tomorrow if there's someone dead, and if not, then we can consider that there might be a cult)

Why Xikue? Why? First you get me addicted to Touhou themes, and now you ninja me. Will the humiliation never end?
Unknown2009-09-11 00:16:47
Hmm wonder if this means that all the Youkai or whatever are scum in this game ze~
Arix2009-09-11 00:27:22
Ran is a Youkai
Lorick2009-09-11 00:41:53
I think Kira needs to figure out what exactly she is implying. First she implies that my roleblock didn't go through, then turns around the issue by claiming it did go through and it might have something to do with Vendetta being missing. To be honest, it feels like she is struggling for any reason that might turn away the focus from her behaviour so far. Also, I wasn't suggesting a mass claim, I was suggesting that people who have claimed might as well come forward with their last words as a way to double check their claim as true. For one, no one really knows what the Last Words do, so it isn't like hiding it stops anything. The fact you've attempted quite hard to lynch anyone who tries to show the town any sort of guidance itself seems quite off. First Shiri, now this. Any have an arguement for why _not_ to at least vote for her?
Zynna2009-09-11 01:21:58
Looking back on the old posts, Shiri backed off of voting for Kira because Kira was supported by Daganev (and Shiri seemed to have come around to trusting him). So I think I'd rather go for Llandros as he appeared to have lied earlier about his name vs. what spellcard revealed.

I am again going back to Llandros. I pushed off of him during the day because Renthur seemed the apt choice to end day (and turns out was a valid lynch), but nothing has changed that makes me think Llandros still isn't fishy - not to mention quiet.

As the siege continues and accusations begin flying, Daganev stands to the side and begins to concentrate. People begin to turn and look at him when suddenly, the sky above instantly turns light, the village has returned to normal, and Mima is nowhere to be seen. A feeling of confusion settles over the group as the sun begins to rise in the east and the fog recedes, before they decide to return to the Shrine to continue the investigation.
---------------
The Hakurei Shrine is destroyed and Mima's seal is broken.
The Scarlet Devil Mansion stands secure.
The Gates of Hakugyokurou glow brightly high above the clouds.
A feeling of dread and tension hovers over the Human Village.
Eientei and the Bamboo Forest lie silent, except for the sounds of hopping rabbits.
---------------
A Spell Card falls from the sky, bearing the insignia of Ran Yakumo. It flares brilliantly, then fades away, leaving a faint sparkling aura throughout the area.
The morning edition of the Bunbunmaru Newspaper arrives on the doorstep of the Shrine, its headline blaring "LORICK REVEALED AS A PEEPING TOM!" The first line of the article states that the reporter had found Lorick sneaking into Kiradawea's room to intensely stare at her before leaving as suddenly as he had appeared. The rest of the article is sensationalist claims and accusations of Lorick's penchants for voyeurism and perversion.
Celina is nowhere to be seen.
Vendetta has reappeared since Twilight, looking healthier than he was yesterday.
Welcome to Day 2. With 15 alive and present, it is 8 to lynch.

The morning is still young when you all notice a new person standing amongst you.
Celina has joined the investigation.
With 16 alive and present, it is 9 to lynch.

I think Lorick just time-controlled us out of Twilight.
And..I honestly have no idea what Ran's card did, to be honest, this is interesting.
Now then, for confirmation purposes- Lorick, what did you do?
Vendetta, care to explain a bit?
And Celina, I sincerely hope we don't relive the chainsaw incident? And why're you out here now and what are you planning to do?
