Hmm, might as well get my thoughts out of the way. This whole game we've been searching for a "Mima" but she doesn't exist, acting instead as a possession upon her mafia group and empowering those that remain. Seeing as she possessed those at the Shrine, it stands to reason that Reimu and Suika Ibuki are possibly mafia as well barring new information. Also, Kira's own role works to confirm Yukari Yakumo as at the very least not mafia. So, it stands to reason that our mafia were those at the location of the attack itself.

She isn't disappeared right now. She is free.

Still, why do you think there are two mafia groups?

The way Medicine's pm was worded the missing win condition could of been either her side, or the take over condition. I'm working under the worst possible assumption so I can at least plan for it.

You know, we are three days in with only a few Power claims in a high power campaign. If anyone as actual information they would like to put forward, this would be a good time with two scum down. Basically, it seems par for course that each scum kills three people when slain, so staying quiet isn't exactly helping the town if you have information other than what I put forward. For example, I strong feelings against Vendetta and Sabre right now for their attempts to deflect the vote away from Kira or rationalize the town into wasting resources and time not pursueing her. I don't really have solid proof beyond the behaviour, but protecting scum is a pretty damning thing to do even accidently. Essentially the town can not afford to leave those people around even if they claim town because of that behaviour no matter how useful their powers or role.
Lorick2009-09-15 02:25:11
Like.. Furien, care to explain why you didn't die to Kira?

I'd like to see Silf battle Sabre or Shaddus personally, Sabre because of my suspicions and Shaddus because of the lurking, Silf because she offered to roleclaim but I don't have a strong feeling from her of scum.
Ideally, I'd like to see Furien battle whichever one didn't recieve a spell card battle to clear out the list of unclaimed. Essentially, not asking for powers but I'd like names since we now have some guidelines on who the scum might be.

One thing I think that will help us is that Kira was immune to my Day roleblock. Meaning, whoever has Mima most likely will be immune to do day actions. This doesn't mean they are or aren't scum, but it could serve as a good show of who is and isn't if people have a none lethal day action.
Lorick2009-09-15 02:33:09
What are your thoughts Othero? I mean, basically if Vendetta is scum he convinced the person who can't normally be killed into using their last spell card, even if it was wrapped up in a good intentions sprinkling.

My main issue with Vendetta is just how confusing he made the other day. I've got to admit I couldn't follow much of it. Not sure if being that intentionally confusing is scum or not, it was just odd.
As for card battles, I'm sitting out. I have two cards left but I don't believe Kaguya has been reveled, someone correct me if I'm wrong. At this point I'm thinking she is town and it isn't worth it for us to accidentally kill each other.
Unknown2009-09-15 03:06:36
First thing's first. You all need to stop voting. If you bring up votes to where only one or two votes are needed for a lynch, mafia could very well push the last few votes to prevent spellcard battles from finishing so that you learn as little as possible about each other today. You did this yesterday, and it stopped Silferras from completing the second possible spellcard battle for that day. Now you are down two potential reveals from what was possible yestderday. Don't do it again.
Second, everyone needs to reveal their identity today. Everyone. You might not talk about what powers you possess, but everyone needs to know everyone now. We have reasons to believe that the mafia has means of figuring out who each townie is. This is why Kiradawea put so much stress on avoiding role claims - that way she could hand pick her kills and direct lynching as she liked while everyone else stayed in the dark. There is quite possibly nothing for you to lose in revealing who you are as openly and totally as possible, unless you are scum.
That's what I was originally thinking too, when I thought Mima was an actual person amongst us. Now that it is clear that she hides within the bodies of her followers, I think it is safe to assume that there is one mafia. That mafia has two win conditions: one known to us, and one unknown.
I would reason that the second condition involves the destruction of all our key locations. We were also told that Mima has a desire to kill me personally. This would explain why Kiradawea wanted to keep me alive - if I get lynched, it might complicate things somehow. They need Mima's nightkill to get whatever it is they need from me, and if I am lynched instead, then one of you might inherit that thing instead... and in turn become their priority nightkill target.
When or where did this happen? Find the quotation specifically and show us when Mima possessed anyone besides Yuka. I do not believe it did.
It is imperative that you do not lie now, Lorick. You can spectulate, sure, and you can make theories, but don't make lies. If you successfully get me lynched and people point out lies you made, you might be considered the next most scummy person, and then we'll have two lynched townies in a row. That would not sit well with me.
I never said we shouldn't lynch Kiradawea. I did say we should wait. If we could reveal Mima on that same day, we would need to decide who would be more lethal to town if we let them live. You might point a finger at me and say I wasted a spellcard battle that we could have used, but I had no way of knowing whether Kiradawea might have been able to do something against us during the day if left unchallenged, and then town pushed for the lynch and prevented us from using the second, useful spellcard battle at all.
Walk, don't run. Two scum are dead with two lynches. Do you really want to break that streak? Wait for all possible information to accumulate first, then make your decision.
As a final note, Othero might still have a spellcard left. I only had two, and assumed that's how it was for everyone else... but Zynna had four. If not, I can only apologize to Othero for asking him to do it, but believe me, if he declined I would have stepped up and done it again myself at that very instance.

2. There are two sets of mafia, most likely each with 2 members, and perhaps an independant.

That's fine, then, and I'm glad I didn't render you totally vulnerable in the process. I figured if that were to happen, you would have declined.

There, from when Yuka's role was revealed in full, and right after Zynna died.
There is a possibility that Yuka's last word had a chance to kill three people, as opposed to a guarantee to kill three. Furien might not have any actual ability to dodge.

One shouldn't be casting blame on others and attempting to throw around theories Vendetta. I didn't lie as you seem to believe I did. Yuka's own pm talks about her unnatural agression that arose against the shrine and it's inhabitants, then it diverts to her rival completely gone. This would imply Mima had the power to influence the actions of others, creating a mafia, and the ability to possess one as her avatar. It also implies that the reason for that agression was rendered moot, either because Mima was freed and done with the Shrine or because she had it's inhabitants.
Your arguement was that we shouldn't lynch a confirmed scum on the basis that said scum could be useful for the town. This was after your vanishing act during the attack on the human village, your return after it ended with new found strength. This was also after a very amusing bit of theater with Kira where you reveal yourself to be a role via spell card when said cards remained at the shrine after a lynch on Kira was fairly obvious, then turn around and attempt to divert the town and buy time for Kira. Even if you are innocent and completely without fault, one should never defend a confirmed scum. This means we have to lynch you, regardless of what you bring up because we will never be certain you had a power/way around it.
