I'm willing to bet the sword will elict the same response on me as it will on you.
Fair enough. Xikue?
Lorick2009-09-17 23:15:58
See, in my mind there was something confusing. If he was town, why put forth the suggestion of saving Kira, ect. I'm not basing all of this on random statements. Honestly, I thought we would get some sort of response, either the resistance, from the sword, ect. Alone and by itself I would agree with all of you, but it isn't alone in a very large history of issues. Which is why I put forth the suggestion of testing it on someone it shouldn't work on, to show what a negative message looks like, not a neutral response.
Lorick2009-09-17 23:23:08
Basically, if we have two bits of information we can draw an informed conclusion. If I get the same response as Vendetta, I'm willing to buy he is town for now. If it is slightly different in flavor, same thing, to account for me not being human. If we get a clearly negative response though, something may be off and we can work from there. See where I'm going?

You really need to stop saying this as a twist of words without any other context.
I'm starting to think that you don't really believe I am scum anymore, but that I am the "safest" target, and you are as equally unwilling as I to point fingers at anyone else. I do believe you once said you don't even think I'm the mafia godfather at the moment, no? That if I am Mafia, Mima does not dwell within me? What are we supposed to think of that?
Lorick2009-09-17 23:28:47
It's not out of context, if I have to pull it back up again from a few pages I will. My roleblock did not trigger Kira's return message on you, and the only ability I could see from her pm that could cause such a return message would of had to have been under the Spirit of Mima section, which is transfered between mafia. However those abilities are researched by the user and it is quite possible that whomever has the spirit does not yet have access to the ability. When I roleblocked you, I did not recieve a return message, same as Kira at night and others, but that could of been because of your natural claimed avoidance or the fact you didn't have the Spirit ability at the time if you possessed it. However, it is very possible to be scum and not have the Spirit at this time. That was why I posted such.
Lorick2009-09-17 23:42:15
As for pointing fingers, lets see..
1. Vendetta - Put forth an arguement to leave around Kira, confirmed scum, see pg 57
2. Sabre - Put forth an arguement to leave around Kira, confirmed scum, see pg 57
3. Celina - Has yet to put forth any points or opinions except about me, and has worked hard to defend 1
4. Daganev - Advanced time foward, causing the human village to be changed and preventing us from finishing the lynch on Kira. Then, once we get near the required votes for Kira, reserved time restarting the whole process. If time is advanced during another Twilight again, lynch him.
You've managed to be quite comfortable as a fence sitter. You have yet to offer any proof as to where you acquired the idea Kira could help us against Mima, in someone else's post. I went and looked myself trying to prove you and didn't find anything close to it with the exception of Kira herself, a self admitted scum, and even then only after I shot down your plan. Nothing anywhere refers to Kira needing Mima dead, that revealing scum would be bad for the town (pg 57, section 2 I think, or one of the letters), or that Reimu herself is in the town faction _except_ from Kira multiple times.

@Lorick. Consolidate please. Celina has put forth her own opinions about Shaddus. And it's hard to put forth opinions about anything but you with your current post output.
If this is the only way to get you to accept it was not a defensive reaction and get the game moving, then I'll do it.

No, my point was that Mima might be more dangerous left alive if we had her found out and she knew we knew. We'd have to decide which scum was more important to lynch first. Since that condition was never met, it became irrelevant. Though you didn't listen the first time, so why would you now?
Not at all skeptical of Furien?
Lorick2009-09-17 23:53:27
Opinions about Shaddus are in my mind non-opinions. There is nothing to base it off of because Shaddus has been unable to act in either fashion since he hasn't been here. While he was here, he didn't pick a fight with Othero and generally was acting out normal behaviour. It's like agreeing air is good. Getting rid of afks is good, ect. A non-opinion since they don't really have any basis other than as housekeeping.
Lorick2009-09-17 23:57:05
Confirmed Survivor? Of course I am. If anything, that's a rainy day lynch right here. I even put forth the suggestion of lynching Furien over Shaddus since if the mafia does nothing to frame Shaddus we still get a free day to clear out our ranks of a survivor, and if they acted we could confirm pretty much with reason that Shaddus wasn't mafia. But no one wanted to do that, getting rid a confirmed non-town is a little too hard.
Riiiight. Revealing scum is always better than stopping at one. We called you on that logic then and I still do now. Hell, the person who spoke up first on it against you was Silf. That sort of thinking is dangerous because if it takes hold it causes the town slow itself down for no reason.

I bothered to look this up. This was what the vote count looked like when Daganev affected time.
Kiradawea: 2 (Lorick, Silferras)
Silferras: 1 (Othero)
Lorick: 1 (Kiradawea)
Llandros: 2 (Zynna, AtS)
8 votes were needed to lynch. If there's no time limit on how long twilight can last, then I suppose there might be a point there. The human village wasn't destroyed either - it survived though was rattled. My guess is that if a proper scum lynch had went through that night, you still would have had the same result for the village.

Out of curiousity, and since it matters very little now, who did you investigate on Night 0 and Night 1 Sabre? We had no posts come up, so I'm willing to assume those people didn't take any actions on those nights.
Night 0 I investigated Shiri. We didn't know anything about one another yet since we started on night, and Shiri is usually given power roles, so I figured why not.
Night 1 was no one - I can only snoop so many times (I must have no budget and a limited supply of paper!) and at that point I didn't know if I wanted to waste another so soon without a good idea of personalities.
Lorick2009-09-18 00:15:18
Ok, one other quick question, on Night 2, were you investigating me or Kira?

Wow, it's as if you stopped reading entirely.
I don't agree with lynching AFKers.
Not to mention that, yet again, it is just so convenient for you to disregard everything. "She hasn't given any opinions other than the ones I have dubbed irrelevant." Kind of like Xikue's power somehow proves that your crusade against vendetta isn't a massive waste of time.
How can you post so much and be so...pointless.
See people, my suggestion to lynch him wasn't all bad.
Lorick2009-09-18 00:19:18
That is possible Vendetta. The reason I didn't bring it up until now actually. Like I said, one point isn't a basis, two points can be used to reach a conclusion. We don't know enough about Daganev's powers to really make any informed decisions. A lynch on Kira was pretty much going to happen eventually if only because of her response to my points. Not really a major point though. What bothered me in addition to this was the timeskip backwards once we neared a lynch on Kira. We had to repeat the process, and it was never clear why we went back to the start of day 2.

Balizar will be replacing Shaddus. We still require a replacement for Llandros.
=Votecount!=
Balizar: 5 (AllergictoSabres, Xikue, Daganev, Celina, Zetsu)
Lorick: 2 (Arix, Othero)
Vendetta: 2 (Lorick, Furien)
With 14 alive, it is 8 to lynch.

Hmm we have a replacement alright ze~ Unvote: Balizar
Unknown2009-09-18 00:30:41
Woohoo. Welcome aboard, Balizar. Can you tell us a bit about yourself? We've wait a long while to hear from you.
Lorick2009-09-18 00:36:06
Love to hear your opinions Bali and would be happy to hear my views and points vindicated. Also, everyone who just unvoted, you just proved my point that the hunt on Shaddus was housekeeping and nothing more.
