I'm fairly sure now that the destruction of an area is part of a win condition for the mafia, because the only thing that changed was the flavor message. So the reason the mafia killed Flandre was so they could destroy the mansion- maybe they had to use some other power beforehand to complete the condition, then kill someone from that area as a sacrifice for Mima? Or maybe the ability destroys an area if certain conditions are fulfilled, and Flandre was just part of the backlash?

Not sure who we should go after now, will wait for more spell battles and confirmation from people.

If removing roleblocks is all that sword does, it isn't really going to be useful in deciding who is who.

Xikue, I think it's almost time for you to start trying out the Roukanken, with choice options at this time being me, AtS, Bali, and Othero. Worst comes to worst, daganev can reverse time for this day and give us a fresh start. Also, if I get my spellcard battle out of the way first, we'll have two new spellcard battle options to play with in the event of a time reversal. I don't think we can afford to dally with using what we can now, we're at a critical point!

Anyway, interesting.. Does this mean that Mima doesn't need to initiate Twilight any more to destroy locations? As far as I can tell, having my associated location destroyed hasn't done anything to me (yet?).

At this point, we can't rely on name confirmations to pin down scum any more, because unless Zetsu isn't actually Marisa and someone did steal cards, we're all supposed townies. I can card battle more if need be, though, I have even more spellcards than Flandre..

If we're working with a culting mafia, names won't help, yeah.
I'd request Zetsu use a card that's uniquely Marisa's, but that may be difficult.

Ok, this is very interesting and disturbing. It seems the sword frees someone from roleblocks. Yesterday I roleblocked Vendetta but we didn't get this response, perhaps because of his avoidance and thus I can not confirm he isn't the host of the Spirit of Mima. If I failed to roleblock, then I wouldn't get a pm back confirming him. I roleblocked Zetsu for the day to check for the spirit, and we clearly saw the sword remove the condition. Now we can make an informed conclusion. Zetsu currently is not hosting the spirit, Vendetta could be. If we have to vote for one of them today, I'd rather do so on Vendetta with this new information. Last night? Celina. But I was out of charges and didn't get to see who killed her. Slightly annoyed since it would of been a perfect time to.

It also shows the sword _does not_ clear Mima, at least as the most likely purpose. It looks like it was designed to cure someone of conditions like roleblock, perhaps from spellcard or power. Which is useful to the town if we have power roles spellcard battle.

That was Hakurouken, Lorick. We still have yet to see Roukanken used at all, which is the spirit cleaving sword.

Vendetta and Zetsu set to the skies and declare their spellcards, eager to test how each other's skills have improved from the last time these two heroines dueled, during the Fake Moon Incident.

The battle is fierce, with Zetsu unleashing the power of his Mini-Hakkero against the swarms of scribed charms that encircle Vendetta. Finally, after an extended period of time, Zetsu manages to overpower Vendetta and gain enough of an edge to catch him with a mighty MASTER SPARK~U!!!

Soundly defeated, Vendetta falls to the ground, blackened and singed, as Zetsu shoves his Mini-Hakkero back into his pack with a smug smile on his face.

Right, but it shows the confusion sword most likely doesn't have an impact on the Spirit. Which was part of the arguement in your favor prior. We don't know enough of the second sword to make judgements on it yet, pro or con.

Does everybody have a name at this point, and can someone who knows the lore give a summary of each of the charachters that we know about?

A couple of things pop out at me.

1. Shiri put "town" next to himself but nobody else... weird.
2. Didn't Lorick tell us that he didn't belong to any of the regions here? Suspicious that he was lying.
3. Lllandros looks like a suspect for scum to me. "(based on roll) mind explaining why he isn't but the "protaganists" would be?
4. Arix has a power over boundaries... This sounds like something that is very central to the game we are playing. It's suspicious to me. Mainly, we are partially dealing with Mima going across and breaking boundaries.

Last question. Are there any charachters that we would expect would be in the game, from flavor or game text that isn't accounted for yet?

Hard to say, but the flavour was pretty definitive this time round. Hmm. Not sure what to think here.
