1. I have several alts, half of them female
2. I am extremely paranoid about people in small, rural towns, particularly in Maine
3.I actually did design those robes with Eventru in mind, it wasn't really a coincidence
4. Sumi-e is my favorite art style
5.Arix originally had rainbow dreadlocks before I decided it was too silly even for him
3. Anyone who talked to me on clans before I made those robes know this is true
5. This was back when I was trying to make a set description for Arix. Other rejected ideas: blue hair, handlebar moustache, monocle (he did wear a loupe for the entirety of his time as a jeweler though) and like six other random things

I'll guess that it's number 4 for you Arix.
Rancoura2009-09-14 22:21:58
#1 for Arix. Maybe all of them are female, or only one-third.
And #5 for Synl, because I don't think I've heard anything about Saladin from you yet.

Arix2009-09-14 22:38:37
number 4 is true, I love sumi-e. Number 1 is the lie, I currently have no alts, and have never had a female alt. And for number 2, I blame Stephen King
Arix2009-09-14 22:39:20

I win again. I do have a necklace with the Triquetra on it.
Proof:
I -don't- pray to Lord Nocht IRL.
Since I've already won Lusternia, I want Eventru this time, too.

'OMG I love Nocht so much, I wish there religion was like that IRL.'
SOUND FAMILIAR?
FURTHERMORE. My ploy for more pics has worked.
And #1 is the false one. I've broken glasses during sparring, but it also results in bodily harm. Honestly, try cutting someones glasses in half with a sparring sword and -not- harming them.
Unknown2009-09-14 22:45:30
I have to ask Rancoura, are you a fan of led zepplin? Because when I see a triqueta, I think John Paul Jones.

I would think it more appropriate to blame H.P. Lovecraft, but that's just me. Anyway...
I'll guess #3 for Kiradawea
And mine again for the guessing
3. My house is supported by railroad ties.
4. I know how to play the clarinet, alto-clarinet, mandolin, and harmonica.
Kiradawea2009-09-15 00:25:21
1. I went to a psych for half a year before I was diagnosed as healthy.
2. I've chosen subjects I loathe multiple times because I think they'll lead to something interesting.
3. I have a tendency to overextert myself.
4. I organized a charity drive almost all by myself before I turned 12.
5. My best friend lives in a nearby town.
Not at all. As some people know, I actually worked myself ill just a week ago, so number 3 is unfortunately quite true.
And for you, I'll guess 4 is the fake one.

I said I DON'T pray to Him in real life, Synnel. And you blow my words way out of proportion
Also, not quite the type of picture you wanted, hm?
#5 for Kiradawea.
Unknown2009-09-15 04:31:30
@Kiradawea. Yup that's the false one, out of all of those I only know how to play the clarinet. However I do own all those instruments, just have as of yet not learned to play them. I'll also guess #5 for you. Or rather #2 just not to overlap.
Which also makes my #3 true by default, to make a long story short let's just say my house is very polish.
Here's another set.
1) I've never left the Continental US.
2) I was once part of a fairly long running Podcast.
3) I've traveled across the width of the continent by train to spend five days with people I only met for half-a-day.
4) I've been hit in the head casually with everything ranging from a ping-pong ball to a horseshoe with little effect.
5) While I read the doorstop that is Atlas Shrugged in a year, I've yet to finish The Lord of the Rings.

#5 is correct. My best friend lives not in a nearby town, but on the other side of the country.
#1 is true. Back when I was 16, I struggled heavily with not having any friends at school, so I was forced to visit a psych, but he couldn't find anything wrong with me, so he diagnosed me as healthy.
2# is also true. I've picked Math so many times, despite the fact that I loathe it, because it's neccessary to study medicine and computer programming.
So lemme give you a new list.
#1 I've published my first literary work already.
#2 I used to have two female rabbits, until we found out that one of the rabbits were male...
#3 I own three different copies of the bible.
#4 I once got run over by a car without sustaining any heavy injuries.
#5 I've made Ratatouille from scratch.
And I guess #5 for Maellio

Or so you'd think.
#1 for you, anyhow, and #3 for Kiradawea.
Kiradawea2009-09-15 20:23:37
It's no fun when you guess it on the first try. But yeah, #3 is false. I only own two copies.
For the others, I've indeed had my first book published, but not outside Norway, and probably never will since it was a collective work.
We did have two female rabbits, or so we were told. We even took them to the vet multiple times to have it confirmed because of their odd behaviour, so pretty much everyone was surprised when we one day found two adorable little bunnies.
For the car, it happened when I was... ten years old? I think the reason I didn't get badly hurt is because I've been in so many other accidents that I've gotten tough.
And five's true as well. I love cooking, so Ratatouille is a dish I of course had to attempt.

@Kiradawea Nope, I have indeed finished Atlas Shrugged (and nominally subscribe to the ideology within, though it is a horrible read) and yet never managed to get past the first book in LotR. One of these days... maybe... I hope. Lest he who supplied me with my copy kill me for slacking.
@Rancoura Pity you didn't guess #4 like I'd hoped you did, as #1 is indeed the lie. I've been to Hawaii once, on a band trip.
#2 I was part of "The Cavern Today" (TCT), a podcast for the Myst community. You can hear me in several of the later episodes, I did the hosting for the last "official" episode there was.
#3 This also has to do with Myst, mainly Mysterium. I traveled to the 2006 Mysterium in Spokane, Wa by Train to meet people I had only seen in passing the year before when Mysterium was in Chicago (I think it was the year before anyway).
#4 I have indeed been hit by such wonderful things as basketballs, baseballs, softballs (not soft), and even a horseshoe once. I had the misfortune of walking through a game of horseshoes at a family gathering... and promptly kept walking after a half-hearted 'ow'.

Two in one shot? Hm.
I might post more if I think of any.

Anyway, I'll see if I can't get a new list.
#1 I study philosophy, psychology, linguistics, computer programming, statistics, logic and information treatment at University.
#2 I think LoTR is, at best, completely mediocre.
#3 I've got a need to be original and creative, to the point that I'll scrap or rewrite entire stories if I feel it's been done before.
#4 I can spend months planning different game modules.
#5 I'm very methodic and thus rarely forget meetings, assignments and such.

I might post more if I think of any.
I might post more if I think of any.
You don't guess on any of the harder ones I jest.
Five more for me:
1.) I don't have my drivers license even though I'm 22 years old.
2.) My surface temperature around my solar plexus runs upwards of 94 degrees Farenheit. (most other people are around 92)
3.) I've blown a hole in the side of a school building with a potato cannon.
4.) I have seven plush sea creatures on my bed, only one of which I purchased for myself.
5.) I'm stuck on XS mission 5 of Trauma Center: Second Opinion (paraskevi)
@kira: #1 is possible if you aren't quad-majoring, so I think #2 is the not-truth. You love hobbits.
Kiradawea2009-09-16 00:30:28
Number 5 is true. Because Trauma Centre, like all Atlus games, is making Nintendo Hard popular again. I remember finally beating the X7 mission on S. It took me... well, let's just say I'll probably beat Nethack faster than I got an S on X7.
I'm gonna guess 3.
And you're wrong I'm afraid. Hobbits are cool, but LoTR is still... not all that interesting. I found it a chore to actually read through it. Hobbit was fun though.

3 is almost true. Someone -did- blow a hole in the side of a school building with a potato cannon. It just wasn't me.
The only other mission I'm having trouble with is that one where you have to save 4 patients with doubleguilt in 10 minutes... I had to do that one on easy because of the stupid yin-yang tumor one.
And it's kind of strange that I have so many plushies and yet have only purchased one for myself O_o (it's my fuzzy happy shark, that I bought in San Francisco on my freshman year city-wide Scavenger Hunt)
Five more....
1.) I own the Dune books written by Frank Herbert (but none of those silly side stories for me!)
2.) I own the entire Ender's original quartet.
3.) I still have books 1-31 of the Hardy Boys from when I was in elementary school.
4.) I own and have actually used The Complete Annotated Gilbert and Sullivan.
5.) I own Monday through Saturday of the Keys to the Kingdom series by Garth Nix.
