I win!

I need to make up a list ....

Anyway, I'll see if I can't get a new list.

#1 I study philosophy, psychology, linguistics, computer programming, statistics, logic and information treatment at University.
#2 I think LoTR is, at best, completely mediocre.
#3 I've got a need to be original and creative, to the point that I'll scrap or rewrite entire stories if I feel it's been done before.
#4 I can spend months planning different game modules.
#5 I'm very methodic and thus rarely forget meetings, assignments and such.

Knorrith2009-09-29 02:38:42
Yeah Kira I'm gonna guess five just cause I can't fathom anyone being that methodical.

It couples with 3 and 4, and since only one can be a lie, all three are true. I vote #1.
Knorrith2009-09-29 17:25:55
Tervic - Take your logic elsewhere. We don't want none of that here tongue.gif

But if you want to play that way I'll say I've not met many methodical creative people. Most of the creative people I know tend to be driven nuts by methodic people.

Well, some things (like game module planning) I know are true from reading stuff like the mafia signup threads. Those require quite a bit of diligence and methodical reasoning. If you don't have everything lined up and charted out, you'll have discontinuity, and if you have discontinuity, you've got pissed off players all up in your face.

But, now that I re-read things more carefully, 3 could be false as well.

And what's wrong with my logic, eh? huh.gif

No, what does that is lopsided team balance, and Kira gets a faceful of that anyways.

Well.... poor planning is what leads to lopsided balance. If you've thought everything out ahead of time, then you won't have an unbalanced game (unless of course all the people on one team are just absolute morons).

Go hug your damn clock.

What can I say. People just naturally hate me. Or love me. It's a coin-flip really. Anyways...

Knorrith is in fact quite correct. Just today I managed to forget the car keys at a store due to my absentmindedness. And I recently managed to write a term paper in just 4 hours because I didn't know about it until 4 hours and 5 minutes before it was supposed to be turned in. It's my main cause of stress, along with my perfectionism.

1 is true in that I study "Cognitive Psychology" which is a combination of all those subjects, and a few more. It's really making my head spin.

3 is true. I've lost count of the number of games, stories and campaigns I've scrapped.

4 is true. I do spend months on (among other things) mafia game setups.

So... I guess it's time for new ones.

#1 I've been hit on by both males and females.
#2 Among things I've participated in are Orienteering, Karate and Scouts.
#3 I'm a generous penny-pincher.
#4 I'm studying drawing to improve my (lack of) skills.
#5 I've worked nightshifts on New Years Eve.

Damn that's a harder set. Uhhhh.... 3, because it sounds paradoxical.

Five for me:

!: I don't have a driver's license.
@: I refuse to eat store-bought raw tomatoes.
#: I've worked 16 hours in one 24 hour period. The 24 hour period in question just happened to be my birthday.
$: In the past 72 hours, I have read more scientific papers than I read in an entire quarter at school.
%: I don't like sleeping on a bed and would rather a giant pile of pillows and blankets.
^: The cake.
Kiradawea2009-09-30 16:42:37
Nope. It's true. I never spend more than I absolutely have to, but I'm far from adverse spending money on friends or family.

For you, I guess

Sadly, that's true... I had a time-critical experiment that I had to finish that day in order to mesh with a whole :censor:-storm of other experiments that were concluding at the same time. But, as things in science often do, they went horribly wrong and I had to repeat a 5-hour protocol. I got home at 1 AM. FML.

4 is a lie because you have pre-existing drawing skills (maybe?).
Kiradawea2009-09-30 18:34:14
No guessing twice! I'm not gonna respond to that. Leave it for the others to figure out. tongue.gif

I'll take a stab and say 1 for Kira ... getting hit on by both genders.

^ is obviously a lie... but that's true, so I'm in a mobius strip here...

Depending on where you live, this can happen way more often than you'd realize.

Anyway, I'm guessing 4, because I'm a perfectionist too, and drawing drives me crazy. I can never get the angles or proportions right, so I just stay the hell away from it.
Kiradawea2009-10-01 11:28:14
Actually, you're both wrong.

1 became true just a day before I posted the list actually. I've never had anyone hit on me before in my entire life, and in the span of six hours, I get hit on by a girl and a boy. Quite... interesting.

4... well it'd be a lie if I meant "I go to an art school", but in truth I do study drawing. It's mostly self study from a book though, and I don't get to do it very often, but it's barely true.
